    It gets more confusing as you have to differentiate between game fish and nongame fish too. I think in FL I can collect the pygmy sunfish but can't sell it unless I purchase a commercial fishing license. That's if I'm interpreting the law correctly (which I'm probably not).

    If this is something you think you might do more than once, look at the small tool kits. You can usually pick up a kit with a battery, drill, small circular, etc fairly cheap. They’re not great but they can do what you’re trying to do. A miter saw would definitely be better but since you’re in a apartment, you probably don’t have space. The ultimate would be to “phone a friend”. You only need an hour or so to make all the cuts. The assembly is ezpz.

    That hornwort will grow like crazy. Hack off a piece and throw it in another tank and it will grow like crazy...rinse and repeat until you're sick of hornwort.😁

    Don’t have a lot of experience with otos but a bunch of my fish love zucchini so definitely give that a try.

    They were at a LFS. Didn’t even think to grab a picture. I was thinking of buying them but the no color thing made me nervous. A couple had very faint yellow near the tail but no color otherwise.

    So, I've never kept rainbows. Is it normal for a 2 to 2.5 Boesemani to have no color? I know they'll color up as they grow but should good juveniles have any color? Trying to figure out what to look for?

    Georgia Aquarium is pretty awesome. Use to live in Atlanta so I’ve been able to visit several times. The Tampa aquarium is also very cool on a smaller scale.

    Ordered from the Coop on Monday afternoon. Received my order this morning. My house is 2837 miles from them. They didn’t even give me time to get my new aquarium stand built...the nerve.😉

    Pulling the fry is definitely part of your issue. If you pull the fry with guppies you are gonna multiply quickly. If you don’t want to keep fighting it. Donate the females and go all males. Even if you separate the females, it’s too late, you’re gonna get more babies.
