Replacement light for Fluval Flex 15 that fits under the hood?
MickS77 replied to rotomas's topic in General Discussion
Can you take a picture of under the hood? -
My favorite was a Tiger Oscar.

A local glass shop can cut a piece to cover the whole side of the tank. I assume you're trying to avoid the plastic filler piece on standard lids?

I think the Aquaskys are nice lights. I have a 36" on this guppy tank growing this big jungle of guppy grass. I don't fertilize this tank at all.

I use these ones, they fit easily. I use a digital thermometer to check the temperature and adjust it slowly to get the temperature up.

MickS77 replied to Zoe's topic in Edmonds Washington Retail Store Forum
Can't be exactly sure but I think they get multiple shipments a week, I'd check daily.- 2 replies

Building a stand questions; buying lumber
MickS77 replied to Kat_Rigel's topic in General Discussion
"Banana Board" I like to call it. You can use a miter box to help make straight cuts. A local lumber yard might be able to make all cuts for you and assist with design.- 17 replies

Has anyone tried this living wall?
MickS77 replied to wendypizza's topic in Plants, Algae, and Fertilizers
I've collected materials to start a small tank like this. I got 1/2" foam mat to silicone to the tank walls to allow mosses to grow into it. Just haven't set it up yet.- 17 replies

When I had a reactor on an FX4 I replaced the fluval hose with a soft silicone hose. I ran an AquaMedic 1000 CO2 reactor. The flow was reduced quite a bit from the filter.

Just bio-film, nothing to be concerned about.

I can second Rectify as fantastic. Also Stranger Things isn't mentioned here yet??? Watch that if you haven't.

Hap & Leonard is great. Fargo-ish type show. Only had 3 seasons, 6 episodes each, they're on Netflix now.

This is Peace River gravel shown in this tank, with some other larger gravel on top, for anyone's reference. I have crypts growing fine in it.
