  1. Definitely a Tetra, Red Eye or Reed Tetra is my guess.
  2. Thanks Nerms! It's nice to be part of such a great forum.
  3. Couldn't leave this guy in the pet store cups, too cool. Promptly named Oynx by my lovely girlfriend.
  4. I keep two 10 gallons with a sponge filter going all the time, bare bottom with plastic plants for cover. I use the med trio regardless if I see something obvious or not.
  5. Thats what it looks like to me. I have a whole tank full of it haha.
  6. I use the Cobalt MJ1200, seems like they may be discontinued now. I think Marineland sells the same pump under a different name.
  7. Thats my thought as well, I went with 30ppi for all my filters.
  8. Make sure the faucet has enough height to get the Python on and off. Also bathroom sinks are usually fairly small and some sinks may not have overflow hole in them. I have overflowed a bathroom sink in the past because it couldn't drain fast enough to keep up.
  9. I'd think something like these would do the trick and be easier to remove. A local hardware store may sell them individually instead of buying a whole pack.
  10. If you look close you can see black dots of the baby's eyes in her swimmerets.
  11. For my 110 planted tank I use a 20LB CO2 tank, Green Leaf Aquariums regulator, ph controller, and an Aquamedic 1000 CO2 reactor driven by a MightyJet DC Pump.
  12. I have some where the silicone is barely visible because they used so little, still holding water fine.
  13. Looking for ideas on stocking this 20H. Last month I decided to rescape my big planted tank (see profile cover pic) and I didn't want to pull all this nice Java Fern off the wood. I set up this tank up with a Fluval Nano light, some sand, and a small sponge filter. Its in my heated fishroom so temps are upper 70s. I don't fuss about water hardness or ph, I've always had fish adapt fine. My first thought was Celestial Pearl Danios but I want the opinions of other Nerms.
  14. I use a filter media bag over the end of the vacuum tube to prevent fish from getting sucked in.
  15. 90 Gallon. I like the 48x18 footprint and at 24 inches deep it's easy to reach into the tank for maintenance.
  16. I don't think they list them because they aren't the same quality as the current stickers so I think they only go out as free stickers with orders.
  17. Finally got the elusive Mystery Snail sticker with my latest order 👍
  18. I go by this coop article for dosing levels. https://www.aquariumcoop.com/blogs/aquarium/aquarium-salt-for-sick-fish
  19. Krill and thus Krill Flake contain higher levels of carotenoids, a natural color enhancing pigment. Foods containing paprika are "color enhancing" too.
  20. I've seen these as Peppermint Tetras or Candy Cane Tetra
