    I started my first batch of brine shrimp last night. I've had the gear for a couple of months, but I finally brought my 13-year-old bucket of marine salt out of storage. I spliced on a bit of tubing to the exit for when I harvest tonight. I only did a teaspoon of brine, and it will probably make more than I need for my tanks.

    It will be fine, and quiet. I use a pair of Nano Sponge filters, and a pair of Nano Air Pumps in each of my 20 gallon tanks.

    @be28ans, that looks like a good start. Those color levels sound good, so I would suggest trying them in Automatic or Pro Mode, so you get the timer function. Save Manual mode for photos. Cheers

    There are lots of good fish suggestions here! I will just add that yellow Neocaridina shrimp are really cool, and pop against the green in a planted tank.
