  1. The mystery of the golden Endler deepens! One of the gold Endlers (normally Xanthic) is a couple of shades whiter than his/her siblings. I’ve established a color grade system: Low Grade : Exhibiting small patches of gold, nothing special. Medium grade: Uniform gold all over the body, Xanthism, and the color become more intense while they develop. High Grade: A couple of shades whiter than the Gold ones, bordering on leucism. Retain a small patch of gold around the head.
  2. Swiss snowdrops in spring 🙂
  3. Are there any parallels (substrate etc) between the one that has just crashed and the 36 gal bow front which is doing OK?
  4. @Schuyler has kindly alerted me to the fact that AquaBid also works in Switzerland! These killis are sooo tempting! And they're in France too! https://aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?fwkillifishe&1679056042
  5. Must get some of those in the summer! I've seen them in lake Geneva, but always presumed that they'd die if I collected some.
  6. @Colu Maybe try adding some crushed carbon to the tank to serve as a pH buffer to prevent swings like this in the future. I'm sorry for your losses!
  7. Could black silicone do the trick? I've never tried it.
  8. I know this isn't constructive, but you can never have a big enough aquarium. @beasties is gorgeous!
  9. I really should look harder! 😅 I actually have a decent set up which I could put them in... Thanks again for offering to send some all the way from the states!
  10. I've seen the outside of aquarium sprayed for a black background. What would you use it for?
  11. I really loved it when you guys did the unboxing with Robert and Jimmy, along with the Chinese fish markets and the Dean vids. It still seems mostly geared towards beginners, but I believe that most of the ACO fan base is at the sort of medium level in the hobby and would appreciate some of the niche-breeding projects. Heck, its what got me excited as a newbie to the channel!
  12. Furcata and Luminatus sort of last two years before passing. Someone mentioned that Gary Lange doesn’t bother with them because they don’t last long. 😂
  13. This is really interesting. I can’t wait to see how it pans out! Tempting me to get some…😁
