No luck with my neons so far, but an article on TFH recommends leaving them in for at least 2 days. My black skirt tetras are looking pretty fired up, and I’m already conditioning them with BBS as a plan B. School journey be like: -
I use IALs and I try to separate the fungused ones as best as I can, and put the inseparable ones in my shrimp tank.
-
Definitely Palaeatus.
-
@mountaintoppufferkeeper I’ve heard that rams horn snails work great as well.

Probably my first time off-pisteing on skis. The friends I was with were all experienced, while I was the complete newbie. We ended up going down a steep slope interspersed with trees, and there was sooo much powder that I almost caused an avalanche when I fell as we stopped to regroup. These days I’m a tad better 😅

My dad calls them “Grey Slugs”… hence why I’m trying to breed more fish for my 63 gal display. -

Not bad, but I did find another 20 eggs from the Palaeatus which brings the count up to ~70. A consolation prize 🙃. 5 Day old fry: -

Just found one underneath the false bottom. This hobby is pretty frustrating sometimes. At least it was only a half-hearted attmept; I’ve got a bag of peat at the ready, so I might try with my glowlight tetras. Have a nice day Nerms! -

SkaleyAquatics - The "Temp" Fishroom Build

Are you able to “pop” the males (remove the eggs out of their mouths to raise up separately) like with African Cichlids?- 24 replies
-
Maybe try adding some spawning mops and attempt some temperature fluctuations. I think they breed in the wild when the rainy season hits, so maybe try doing a water change with cool water and bring the temp down a couple of notches. Best of luck!
-
Dwarf anchor cats ( @Guppysnail) or Pseudomugil rainbowfish.
-
Snail rodeo? 😂
-
It looks kinda rough from what I can find in the web; if I were you I’d do half sand and half that. Or just do sand, it’s safer for bottom-dwellers overall.
