  1. Just ordered the community plus finally. Excited to try it out and see how my fish like it.
  2. That is a trick of the light and the plant above. He is all blue, white, transparent and a little red along the spine. But it totally does look yellow in the GIF.
  3. Finally got around to taking some pictures and videos of my aquarium to share with others instead of enjoying it all to myself. Thought this would be a good one to upload. Hope you guys enjoy.
  4. Dont want any extra ammonia or anything in the water.
  5. Thats awesome. Hopefully I will have some fry soon as well.
  6. Hey Guys. I hope everyone is holding up well. I have seen my Harlequin Rasbora school doing the motions of breeding. However no one actually seems to be laying eggs. I don't know if this is because they are still to small or not. So I have decided to try a new Repashy food and get some weight on them. What would you suggest is the best one for this? Community Plus?
  7. Thanks for the tip Bossman. I will try dosing Easy Green twice a week and back off a little bit once I finally get some more fish in the tank.
  8. Current parameters are 0/0/0. My nitrates stay low as I have a very light bio load currently and I have the Finnex Stingray 48in.
  9. Looks good. Love the look of the planters.
  10. I received my Val back in Nov. It has been planted since. I did notice at first that the old leaves were dying and have had some new growth but that is about it. I have 3 plants and they are all doing about the same. Just hanging out and not much of anything else. I give them each a root tab every couple of weeks and the entire tank gets EZ Green weekly. Was really hoping it would take off and I could order more to really get the jungle look going. I live in Oklahoma and have extremely hard water and am curious if that might be inhibiting the Val. I have looked into dwarf sag to replace the Val. What do you guys think I should do? Keep waiting and see if it takes off? Replace it? Other opinions? This is a 75g planted tank. The amazon swords, anubias, dwarf aquarium lily, crypt lucens, and pogo. stellatus octopus are all thriving and growing very well in my opinion.
  11. It looks to me like it is still converting. The new leaves are nice and green and it is consuming the old ones. I could always be wrong of course.
  12. Thats a nice list of fish. Ready for my local stores to get some new ones in.
  13. I have the 48in finnex stingray on my 75g. Got it from the COOP. They are currently out of stock tho. It is awesome. My low light plants are doing well and i like the coverage it offers. Its better than I thought it was going to be for a low light setup.
  14. 1. We do water changes to lower nitrates. If the nitrates arent high no need to water change just keep topping off the water. 2. You are treating the fish not the plants so I dont see any reason why you wouldnt keep dosing EG on your normal schedule. 3. I put a Wondershell in my HOB and it dissolved rapidly. I then put the next one hidden behind some wood on top of the substrate a month later and it is taking much longer to dissolve.
