Mostly it's just the peacocks where the females don't have color. You can do the mix of 4 species, but you may not need too, things like a pseudotropheus saulosi have blue males and yellow females so you get 2 colors right there. I think some of the fun for the african tank is getting babies going, the fewer the species,t he easier that is to do naturally without having to pull babies.

Interesting, I think over time it'll probably rupture, and then you just need to keep it from getting infected and it'll probably heal up. So just keep an eye for now.

If no fish remain in the pond and the fish get better in QT, after a couple of weeks it's likely that anything that was there would have died out in the pond.

Looks like an anal prolapse, salt will usually keep it from getting infected while it heals up.

I believe you're confusing an RO/DI unit with what I use, which is a carbon block filter, to just remove chlorine and other low level contaminants.

I'd make sure they are stable before adding any fish, they can easily get sick when transporting around. As for the fish, pretty much all can be done with water at 7.6 or so.

From the picture, it looks like possibly a tumor. Reducing stress and sometimes salt in a qt tank can help, but it's like 40% chance to improve it. Mostly it just keeps it from getting much worse.

You can do different strategies for meds, the one thing I'll say is, if you have a method that is working, I wouldn't switch. Also if you have a method that isn't working after say 3-5 days, I would switch. I'd probably do another treatment and let it sit as the gourami seems to be recovering pretty well.

If you silicone them in, nothing gets below them. The alternative is, if you don't silicone them in, you can remove and clean under them if you need to.

I would just observe for now, I fit was fungus, it would likely spread and quarantining just one first migh tnot work.

If it's a mild fungus, you can just let the maracyn and ich x soak, just dosing once for a week. Otherwise you can treat with maracyn and ich x each day and water change and redose. If you look at the direction on Erythromycin, which is the same active ingredient and dosage, it says to change water daily. API E.M. Erythromycin WWW.AQUARIUMCOOP.COM Treats Bacterial Infections Plant Safe Invertebrate Safe We now prefer using Maracyn as it's the same active ingredient(erythromycin). The price of API Erythromycin keeps going up multiple times a year. Maracyn has remained...

Sure, it’s easy to get. We just don’t carry it cause it looks nothing like that emersed picture. People want a purple plant. What they get is a green stem plant that they struggle to grow. -
Store Rewards Program?
Cory replied to blakediamond's topic in Edmonds Washington Retail Store Forum
We have had 5 star and other loyalty programs in the past. They just caused headaches. People would different logins, want to combine points, trade points, use them on different things. Customer service constantly helping them log into their accounts. You also run into problems with online vs in store purchases, outages with the system etc. Basically two years ago we came the realization that we can't offer great service and sell at a discount store wide. Our store is small and we can get packed in there, this is why we stopped taking cash as it slowed down checkout. Loyalty programs made the lines much slower. We focus on, let's try to improve experience, products and knowledge to keep our customers in. The savings we have in store are: $100 get free frozen food. Buy 10 or more of the same fish and save 10%. Redeeming Easy Fertilizer Bundle and Med Trio bundle pricing in store. -
I'd keep a close eye on him for now, maybe some maracyn as preventative, the thing to watch for right now is a bacterial infection.
