  1. Have you thought about isolating a pair in a QT tank/ plastic tote for a couple of days? I’m using that method with my Salt’n’Pepper corydoras.
  2. I get this all the time. See a cool thing. Want to do it. Plan, plan, plan…and then I never get round to doing it. I tend to think about aquariums like artworks; only the artist can see and know every fault. It may be why I constantly start a “65 gal recommendations” thread. Proof: My Apisto tank has blue-green algae growing on the duckweed on top and I still love it. 😂
  3. Seeing as they’re a pretty common fish in the trade, I expect that they can live in wide range of water parameters.
  4. That’s my ideal living room! 😂 My vote goes for Barteri at the back and Nana at the front. Makes for a nice ‘forest’ effect.
  5. I get what you mean; I’m also not a fan of working on my tanks if I’ve just had a shower, for example, or after making breakfast. Not that my fish would say no to some bacon…😂
  6. I have a huge Anubias whose roots were so intertwined with the rock wool that I just left them after I took the pot off. 4 months on and the wool is slowly detaching itself. I think you can immerse the roots in seltzer water to completely get rid of it. @Guppysnail
  7. Nice! What do you end up doing with the 100s of fry that you have?
  8. My agassizii pair have started spawning after I did a 30%ish water change…livefoods also help. What are you planning to feed the fry btw?
  9. Seeing the size of the tank, I’m just curious about how long that took you…an afternoon spent working on that would make my day! 😁
  10. I remember that when I first joined the forum was flooded with cute baby York pics. 🥰 How is Gepetto doing?
