It will fit ,but i would buy a media bag and some loose purigen instead. Works better that way. I belive that purigen fits in a aquaclear 30 perfectly

So ive heard of multiple different way to propogate bannana plants but im skeptical about them. Such as cutting off a leaf and letting it float or dutting the bulb in half. Are these viable options or not?

What kind of worm is this, how do I get rid of it?

I would dose the tank with salt and suggest reading aqarium coop salt blog post. -
I prefer to use airline tubing in a ring and possibly a suction cup on the side.

Products you wish were available in your country

I wish we i could get my hands on a sotching oxydator. There a great device for all tanks but especially nano and shrimp tanks -
Use a fine tooth comb and slowly run it across the surface of the water just under the leaves. They have such fine roots they get stuck in a comb to be easily removed. And if you want i would suggest getting a eheim surface skimmer to remove the last few stragglers.

Im not unhappy with the elbows but i wish it was more like the aquaclear filters stanpipe material. They dont crack and hardly ever become unusable.

What is everyone's favorite hang on back filters?
Seized replied to Steven Fletcher's topic in General Discussion
Aquaclears are my favorite HOB but sponge filters are also really good. Not a bid fan of canisters. Only problem with the aquaclears in my opinion is that they dont come with a prefilter and there is only one standpipe extension. You have to buy a second one separately.
