  1. Guppies are one of those very dumb fish who practically throw themselves into the net. 🤷‍♂️
  2. Relaxing their lockdowns with a mutinous workforce…I expect you can’t buy long lasting store-size lights at your average hardware store!
  3. Nice to hear that he’s doing betta 👍
  4. Hey all, this journal is turning into a bit of a monologue (time zones!) but I’m pleased to announce that my family is taking in another 🙄 dog. Here it is: Its a rescue dog 🐶 from Bosnia who would supposedly be put down otherwise. Her name is up for grabs! ( @TeeJay)
  5. I entered 3 shrimp in a 75 gal with a 'Jumbo Bioflow' (whatever that means🤷‍♂️)...turned out quite funny: Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 27302%.Recommended water change schedule: 0% per week.Your aquarium stocking level is 7% Be nice to know their formula...
  6. Ha! I saw the word python in the title and got very excited!🤣
  7. Nothing like an improvised good time to save the day 😂! The Verve occasionally gets to liven things up a bit during tank maintenance with me!
  8. Seems that all your badis species getting into spawning mood!
  9. Least killifish & mollies. Croaking gouramis work really well, and a friend has had luck with neon green rasboras, along with cherry barbs (be cautious on that one.) Personally I'd recommend some African dwarf frogs, pygmy cories, and harlequin rasboras. Keep us up to date on what's going on!
  10. It's more what will be beneficial for you tank...and try to collect them from sanitary places (e.g. not next to a motorway!). Oak, beech, pear, birch, raspberry & blackberry work well, and are safe to eaten by fish, snails, and shrimp. Oak is also quite decorative once dried. Try picking them when they're only just hanging onto the tree, like that they're mostly free of pests and haven't started decomposing. Personally, I prefer to use the occasional pinecone!
  11. Tried it, and it gave a ridiculous number after I put in the amount of Endler babies I have! Plus it's a bit of a pain to research what model filter one has…but it's as good as you can get in my opinion.
  12. Supposedly there have been single cases of aquarium breeding...though I have no intention to try! I used to have two, but the current one was dominant and constantly harassed the other. Gave it to my uncle 😁.
  13. They really are at it now! I'm soooo tempted to order some for a Xmas present for a friend!
