  1. Thank you for sharing! I hadn't seen this idea before, so I will definitely consider using this method. I'm keeping an eye out for a nice group of angels and some sterbai corydoras to get the aquarium started with. Obviously I will have to get the water set up for them first though, so I guess I'll be placing an order for some almond leaves soon.
  2. Thanks for the insight! I will have to look into it more to decide what I want to do.
  3. I haven't really thought that far ahead yet. What would you recommend? @Aiden Carter
  4. Thanks for the ideas!! The plan is to add some taller plants and tanins to the water then get some angels and other fish.
  5. Thanks @Guppysnail Unfortunately I can't claim the best South American Aquarium on the thread lol @Aiden Carter yours looks amazing!
  6. Thanks! And the plan is to run a dehumidifier which will double as a heater connected to the temperature contril system.
  7. Thanks! @Aiden Carter they generally support my aquariums which has been nice lol. And that still sounds super fun! Do you have any pics of it to share? Yep, I miss my corys and want some more!
  8. Thank you for the encouragement! I currently have odessa barbs, bristlenose plecos, and a featherfin synodontis. I hope to convert it to a South American themed aquarium with angelfish, cardinal tetras, and corydoras at some point.
  9. I have been wanting to set up some sort of a “fish room” for a long time now. Because I’m a teenager and thus don’t have a lot of money or space to build a large room, I decided to build a mini fish room in a 4x8 insulated grow tent. First I had to set up the tent which was quite an ordeal. The only place I had to put it was in the basement which stays at 60 degrees or so in the winter. I hope to still heat the tent itself. Next I moved my 75 gallon into the back of the room against the wall After that I had to start building the rack to hold my other aquariums. After placing them on the racks all I had to do was fill them up and enjoy!
  10. Idk if this counts as a fish room, but I have a grow tent with my aquariums inside. I was inspired by this video a few years ago and just got around to making my own. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A4mjxIgHcKw I will be creating a thread to show how I set it up and what all I’m keeping in it.
  11. I have never tried this exact combination, but I have done both separately and didn’t have any issues. As long as give the shrimp god cover and keep the other fish well fed I doubt you will run into any issues.
  12. I love the idea of keeping a large group of small fish in this aquarium! I usually take the @Guppysnail aproach to aquascaping, but I think with some plants and fish in there it will look great!
  13. I agree with what others have said. With it being such a small amount, I doubt there will be any serious consequences. If you are reallly concerned you could do a partial water change to help dilute what is left in the aquarium. If you think about all the polution and other things that go into natural waterways, a small amount of yogurt in a 20 shouldn't be the end of the world.
  14. I know i'm a bit late here, but congrats to all of you! Well deserved!
  15. Very helpful! Thank you! I am thinking about trying some panda corys soon.
