  1. They probably average out at 2” or so now, but some are a bit larger than that. I checked in on them this morning and they’re all settling in nicely so far.
  2. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to snap any pictures of unboxing the fish, but they all arrived alive and seem to be doing well in their qt tank. I’m super excited to see these fish grow!! my apologies for the algae, but I thought some pictures would be enjoyed;)
  3. @tolstoy21 has sent me a group of six geophagus redhead tapajos as a RAOK which will hopefully be arriving within the next couple hours. I have a qt tank waiting for them when they arrive. I’m very excited and will make sure to give updates when they arrive!
  4. I would assume it is probably similar for both. And I have never kept endlers, so I can’t speak to that lol
  5. So I have a quick question for anyone that has used a breeder net before. At what point should I put a female guppy in the net for the best results? I just picked the most pregnant looking one in, but I’m not sure if that is the best course of action. Any thoughts? thanks in advance
  6. I have 4 up and running currently one- 75 gallon with 5 angelfish, a female bristlenose, and a featherfin catfish. And soon to be 6 Geos from @tolstoy21 two- 10 gallons, one with purple mosaic guppies and cherry shrimp from LRB and the other one has a pink ramshorn and is waiting for a pair of dwarf cichlids most likely one- 20 long with mutt guppies, kuli loaches, pink ramshorns, and some cull shrimp. I also have a 5 gallon, a 3 gallon cube, and a 10 gallon all empty at the moment.
  7. Welcome! It sounds like you have a good system going! I would love to see some pictures!
  8. Welcome to the forum! We're glad to have you here!
  9. I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully the offspring can keep the line going for you!
  10. Sounds like you’re taking the right steps and staying calm. I’m glad everyone sounds like they’re still doing well!
  11. Welcome! I’ll be interested to see pictures of your aquariums!
  12. I would agree with @Xr4tiCrew. You should be just fine using it now.
  13. Okay, you should do much better with the plants you got from the coop! They tend to be much better quality
  14. I would just drop it in your aquarium and see how it does. Usuallly mine do well after they get settled in. Are the crypts you have gotten before from aquarium coop?
  15. Looking good! Rescaping or changing stocking in my aquariums is one of my favorite ways to stay interested in my aquariums!
  16. I would definitely go for 2 mediums. They are a great and manageable size. You could do a powerhead on one or both.
  17. I have ramshorn snails in with my aco sponge filters and don’t really notice any issues. And if they can get in they can also most likely get out.
  18. So I set up the net breeder Friday night and put a single pregnant female guppy inside, however when I checked in this afternoon I found 2 lol! Obviously the other one must have just jumped in overnight, but I still got a good laugh out of it
  19. They definitely look like some species of rabbit snail to me.
  20. Very excited! and everything’s looking great!! I’ll enjoy seeing where this goes! Good luck!
  21. Order just came in from the coop!! 60 root tabs for the plants A net breeder to hopefully help increase guppy yield and a free sticker of course! My younger brother also got a sponge filter for his 5.5 betta tank
  22. I’ve been snowboarding and skiing, however I much prefer snowboarding, because it comes a lot easier to me lol
