  1. What kind of snail is that? The snoot looks like Nibbles'. This year I started keeping blue dreams. It was a rocky start because I had some casualties during 10 % water changes, even though temperature was matched so I started doing drip water changes. 3 shrimp in this photo below: I use tap water with Prime dechlorinator. Nothing else added. Feeding Hikari shrimp cuisine, Soilent green Repashy, crab cuisine, veggies, and Bacter AE. @nabokovfan87 @TeeJay
  2. So guess who chewed his tail yesterday? 😞
  3. That is lovely 💛 You have been so kind and caring to him, and you even joined the forum to seek help. He was lucky to have had you. You did as much as you could to make sure he was comfortable.
  4. I had a gold snail that died a few months ago. She was a little snail. She died because her shell had a little crack. Her name was Dot. Maybe Yellowstone will find her and look after her. 💛💛
  5. I am so sorry; that’s so sad. We were all worried about poor Yellowstone. Unplug your heater, net him out and do a big water change. Use a gravel vac if you have one to clean things up. You can also rinse the white fuzz off your decorations if you would like. Put the dechlorinator in the new water and then pour it in. You can bury Yellowstone outside near a pretty plant or flower, that’s what I do.
  6. I’m so sorry to hear that. I know you’ve been trying so hard to help him.
  7. I think the game is fun ☺️
  8. Take Yellowstone out just for a second and sniff him and see if he smells bad.
  9. What size is the tank? @nabokovfan87 is good at answering filtration capacity/stocking questions. Also I do the deep substrate method, so the sand acts as a filter as well. 2” deep and the top part houses aerobic bacteria, the bottom anerobic bacteria. It’s on top of grungy gravel which is great for the plant roots to reach down into and spread out.
