  1. I’ve got a nice looking branch on my apple tree if you’re interested 😂… You can always hose down pieces of wood to get the worst debris out and then gravel vac the rest. (If you can reach in as big a tank as that!)
  2. Todays been an eventful day. Starting off with cutting my finger on some skis and having to get a jab because they were all rusty making me miss double French 🫠. I’m not all too sad about missing out on the wonders of Renaissance littérature. After getting home from school 🏫, I found about 50 Cory eggs stuck to the side of their breeding tote! I’m thinking that a combo of a faulty air pump and 20 Celsius temps are the trick. Basically imitating natural rain. Final bit of good news, my glowlight fry have finally started to take off! One-handed Sera micron is on the agenda tomorrow morning! Stay fishy friends!
  3. I’d already put an IAL in after the parents spawned for that purpose… they were probably just plain old infertile! Nice new profile pic btw. 😄 Take off:
  4. KeepingFishSimples using the mop-in-container method and is getting great results with those guys.
  5. The wild types do have a certain beauty to them.😅
  6. Someone’s waving from the glass: I noticed a big fuzzball of fungused eggs in a corner of the tank. Has anyone got experience with preventing fungus in tetra eggs?
  7. Glad to hear you’re doing well! You could probably set up a tank in your new restaurant…😅 just a thought. Wild caught fish definitely look better and “appreciate “ tank environments a bit more IMO.
  8. The ACO shirt makes me think of how cool a tank with a Fly river turtle, a mbu puffer, corydoras and swordtails would look. Not sure how it would work out, but hey… 🤔
  9. Did you have much success with the chilis? I found that concept really interesting. Do you think it would be possible to build without glass & stuff?
  10. 3 day old glowlight tetra fry. Completely helpless and somewhat small. 😅
  11. What are you planning to breed? I can see that becoming a good Rainbowfish or cichlid rack…
  12. 3 day old tetra fry seem to be doing ok (they don’t do much!). Zebra danio fry have just celebrated their 6 week birthday. Somehow they look more like black neons than anything else. 😅
  13. The fry seem to be around a day off being free swimming. Has anyone got some good tetra fry foods to recommend?
  14. That could be a cyst or a tumor. If you medicate it with salt (1 tsp/5 gal) it might get rid of it if it’s a cyst. @Colu
  15. Leaving them in a small tote for a couple of days at room temp (21 ish Celsius) as a pair they usually spawn pretty quickly. The tricks getting the eggs out fast enough.
