  1. Definitely. I kept mine in a breeding box for 2 weeks before moving them to a fry/shrimp tank where theyre growing along with ca. 150 danio fry. 1 month is about the ok age to add them to the adult tank - common sense is a useful tool tho
  2. Have they spawned yet @Odd Duck?
  3. I like to think that it’s all a question of taste wether you like large amounts of a few species or lots of little schools. I did that with my first big tank and it worked out ok, but I would definitely do a large school of neons these days. Something that doesn’t break the bank. In my defense I was looking more for inter species aggression. 😕
  4. Definitely Palaeatus! I’ve got a couple of juvies on the go in my fry tank: (Shrimp for size) They take about 4 days to hatch and another 2 days to become free swimming- I fed them with sera micron.
  5. Any pics? They could just be dying back to regrow.
  6. Tetra eggs are a tad bigger than that in my experience , and I find it strange that tetras should spawn right above a sponge filter.
  7. That’s going to look epic with fish in!
  8. Those red stripe killis look so much like Luminatus rainbows that it’s unnerving. 😅
  9. Sounds great, but the only thing that could happen is large Congo tetras picking on small Amanos.
  10. Potentially consider getting more females if it doesn’t break the bank, or move the male to a different tank.
  11. Those sweet gum pods look like some kind of alien!
  12. Nice! What’s the stocking plan?
  13. Are the indostomus as hard to care for as the internet makes out?
  14. That’s something I’d do with an ancient iPhone 😅. Really nice-looking tho .
  15. Garlic is a home remedy which I use pretty often, but idk how useful it is against parasites.
  16. Probably internal parasites then. Treat the tank with Expel-P if you’re cautious, but I wouldn’t unless some other fish started dying.
