    My dumb self just stuck a hand in the tank 20 minutes after using hand sanitizer. I forgot I had used some at the gas station. I did a water change and hope my critters will be ok. They are acting normally, other than their usual I-don’t-like-water-changes disposition. Update: @nabokovfan87 reminded me about carbon. Oh yeah! I forget about carbon! So I did that. These ACO media bags are cool. I never had media bags before. I’ve been using pantyhose for like 20 years. But these are reusable! Also this guy is cool with whatever just happened. All-at-once water change, sanitizer, whatever. He just continues to clean his leaf.

    That's like a dream of opposites. Big container, small container. High water level, low water level. LOL I don't know what it is about the fishes swimming in the air dreams. Several of us have had those. Isn't that interesting?

    Brine shrimp hatchery, 2nd edition (first edition: mason jar - was harder to harvest from). I may add a spigot to this setup later with some spare (never used) drip irrigation system parts I have on hand. For now I will harvest off the bottom with an irrigation syringe+airline. This setup is also quieter than the jar. This setup required drinking a lot of Coke Zero. My husband helped. 🥤

    I guess I’ve been looking in the wrong spots for my shrimp culls. I should have been looking up high. This guy found the hornwort. Kratos is on the move. Check out those antennae! I never saw him stretch them out when he lived with Geppetto. Nibbles carefully balancing.

    It depends on the antennae. If they are thin like hair, it's a bladder snail. If they are more like flappy ears, it's a pond snail. Pond snails eat plants.

    I have another berried female but photos are too blurry. I noticed the berried females are very defensive of their personal space.

    Crab cuisine today. Being very stealthy: She has eggs. Black rose shrimp?? Theres about a half a dozen molts in the tank today. They must’ve had a molt party or something. I do have cuttlebone pieces in this tank. Sometimes the nerite eats it.
