  1. I have seen a friends empire gobies have lots of little colour splotches on their fins...maybe the colours weren't apparent when Catherine was being kept in the 'nuked tank'? Welcome to the forum btw!
  2. The board game mentioned by you is line bred? I've seen everything now🤣
  3. My marble angel pair guard the filter box in my 65 gal, until the big ol' discus chases them off.
  4. Glad to see crown tail doing so much betta! Remember the guppies from my LFS who were being kept with Tiger Barbs ? Almost finished with them, and I've found some new homes for them.
  5. I understand your problem, you get asked so many times: could you do a canister filter? Could you bag fish like this? Can you do a magazine? The question is: how do you make it work for the business? Seems like the answer's no, but thanks for your consideration!
  6. I think @Zenzo has kept them with mollies (which survive so much better in brackish water apparently!) and the fry are a welcome snack. I think @AnimalNerd98 has been breeding Amanos: are they able to live in brackish water on a permanent basis? Nice signature btw @Aiden Carter😉
  7. Good to see you back! I thought you'd gone for good!
  8. Are you in Singapore ( I used to live there)? The prices are in Singapore Dollars, which is why they seem so cheap...
  9. I have found that the salt can be beneficial towards fungus and bacterial diseases, and can help 'season' the tank.
  10. Once took a hydroponic light and used it on a 25 gal pond; the plants loved it! In the past I have experimented with terrarium, aquarium, and hydroponic lighting in all the different fields...maybe I should try 'grow lights' exclusively for aquarium plants (*wink @lefty o)
  11. How are the Bettas doing??

  12. I've always wanted to keep annuals, but I'm too scared to buy them at my LFS because who knows how long they have been at the wholesalers for... maybe buying some eggs??? Also the fact that they're annuals just makes it a bit sad when they die each year... but the colours are amazing!
  13. I try to feed mine as diverse a diet as I can, and throw out any flake food that has been around for 1 year +. Maybe that could help? A lot of forum members recommend Kanaplex
  14. Wish I did! Bred them by accident when I was a bit of a newbie to the hobby and didn't think much of it 🤦‍♂️. Took a couple of photos which where lost when I dropped my phone into Lake Geneva 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  15. Already mentioned; but thanks for the input!
  16. I just used an average JUWEL aquarium filter (didn't have much choice!!) with medium to low flow.
