  1. A couple of fun fish pics! Have a nice day!
  2. It's great seeing someone really dive in deep into the subject! The prospect is quite daunting!
  3. Nice new profile pic! Makes a change from the long face😂
  4. How long did it take you to scape the tank (with plants & all)? It's looking amazing!
  5. What are the fish to whom the CAE is being aggressive to? Maybe remove them?
  6. Those are great fun! I can't stop mine from breeding!
  7. 1) Angelfish, white clouds, or rams. 3) Aren't we all!! 4) Try Mesonauta Festivum if you're looking for a change. Maybe aim for a Ram (any kind) with a type of hatchetfish (my marbled ones just spawned)! Or even Mesonauta Festivum coupled with a Ram or Sterbai Corys Keep us posted on what you choose!
  8. Just use tap(, unless you're like me and your pH is 8.6)! I've been using rainwater (free RO water) and I can't attribute any set backs to it. Any pics of the tanks ??
  9. I have found that 1 CAE = 3 Siamese algae eaters work if that helps!
  10. From what I can see your substrate is incredibly low; I'd double or triple it if you're serious about growing plants. Normally I only add fertiliser when the tank is quite well-planted and I want a boost in growth. Give it a serious re-planting (after topping up substrate). Good Luck and Keep us posted!
  11. Have they laid eggs? Are we going to be seeing baby Mohawks??
  12. As long as its cycled and working then I should see no reason to change it ! You're not the only one!😉
  13. Yes, more like flaring and saying 'I'm the boss!'
  14. Consider adding heat to bettas and such, and to guppies so that they pop out fry super quick, and I'd also consider adding heat to most fish living in the tropics to stem the amount of diseases and susceptibility to infections. Basically try to recreate the natural conditions!
  15. They really have been popping them out! Love the colours!
  16. @tolstoy21 has been doing a lot pf Apisto keeping & breeding lately, maybe he can help, as I've only kept and bred A. Agassizii and A. Cacatuoides.
  17. Finally something interesting! Theres only so much talk of 'crafting' I can take!
  18. I tried importing some rainbowfish (rarer variety) from the Netherlands; customs scared me off quite a bit. Waiting time would have also killed the fish, but eggs could be an idea!
  19. I've seen people like Zenzo add some those magnetic turtle islands for the mud skippers and fill up the tank to about 3/4 full.
  20. More like this: Keeping eye contact while knowingly ruining your day and taking pleasure in doing so 😂
