    What are your experiences with tissue cultures? I’ve tried them again & again and they just don’t work. Can’t sustain themselves and melt into mulm. Final attempt with Java Moss & Frogbit. Has anyone had luck with them? Have a nice day.😁

    Could be very fun! Maybe along with some tetras…? Filter and heater have been added. I tend to wait for the heater to bump the temperature up a bit - plants have died on me in the past which I can put down to either too hot or too cold water.

    Bummer. I have seen people remove the father after spawning, but they end up getting little or no fry…maybe it’s something to do with water parameters?

    Lucky! Can you come and work at my school @Moss? Tail structure is a bit off for it to be livebearer, reminds me more of a danio or a tetra. Goldfish is a possibility @Biotope Biologist, but their fry tend to be relatively transparent until they get to the 2.5 angels inch mark. What species of fish were in the vendors water sprite tank?

    Visit to a new fish store yesterday; they have a Molly colony in their plant selection tank. The vendor also scapes all the tanks…

    Rummy nose have that fun schooling behavior, while silver tips have those nice little iridescence on their fin tips. (Both great, but I always take the cheaper one. 🤣)

    That would be heaven for my dogs! “Yay, fish food! Makes a change from treats!” Somehow they really like it as soon as some gets spilled by accident. 😂🤷‍♂️

    Answers: 1. Sometimes the eggs “spill” out of the spawning box, in which case they just fall into the bottom of the breeder. 2. They were in a 63 gal with lots of other fish, and this isn’t the next Mars mission, so… Finally finished the scape!

    Danios are in the box! I also went to a fish store today, (not my usual one) about an hours drive away, and they are my new favorite! No sick fish, no dead ones, a molly colony in the plant selection, and everything at a reasonable price. The guy who bagged up my fish (3 Endlers for the price of 2) scapes all the tanks. Some of his great ones: After a long search, I finally found a gang valve thing which is meant for acclimating several fish at a time. Could I use it to optimize my filters??
