Kriskm
Made EIGHT little moss lava rocks and threw them in my newish 10 gal shrimp tank. it got pretty tedious after the first couple ones, but I hung in there. Also, pic of big yellow neocaridina in the tank.
Maggie
Found several danio erythromicron fry on today's water change!! I put several in this fry basket and then found more still in the aquarium. A detritus worms photobombed the first pic. Not sure what else to do!
Fonske
Dealt with consequences of a mini-flood. One of my internal filters had an existential crisis, self-amputated its waterfall attachment and turned itself into a bigger-than-this-tank fountain. At 3 a.m., so no one would notice. Luckily, the fish (and I hope the downstairs neighbors too) are fine and my floors are now extra-clean. 1
Hobbit
I caught Dad Fish’s most recent brood of wrigglers and put them in my fry box! Yay, next generation!
Ken
As I was rooting around in my 40B for the next delivery of Cherry Shrimp to the LFS tomorrow I happened across a baby Panda Cory that has made it to be big enough to not be food. Cute little feller. Pretty cool. No pictures, it's pretty fast and I put the blob of Java Moss back so as not to stress it out. Netting out Cherry's is a bother in a heavily planted tank.
Marshall
it all started a year ago my daughter 2years old wanted a tank , now we are here a year later , today we added two snails to the community and a grogu ( baby yoda ) to watch over them , all plants from the co op . Yes I know I need to clean it up but left it dirty so the snails can forage while getting used to the tank , she loves her fishys and keeps calling the shrimp lobsters and it's hilarious 4
gogomarigo
Still waiting for the water sprite to fill in the back but the tank is coming along quite nicely!⠀ ⠀ Some days I want to tear it down and re-start from scratch but I’m learning to trust the process. Amazon sword and three water sprite from the Co-op!😍

Dawn T
Today, I upgraded the light on one of my 29g tanks. That's pretty much all I accomplished today. Had to be out of the house, so... but our SUV has new tires. LOL
Dancing Matt
Got some Co-op plants that came in. Plopped them in tanks waiting for my next build along with dropping in some much needed root tabs (also recently acquired).
ChefConfit
Added blue dream shrimp to my “accidental“ tank! Making a separate post about my troubles keeping shrimp since I moved and what I'm doing differently this time.
Hobbit
I got my order from Aqua Huna! It came two days earlier than predicted so I had to rush to get all the tanks ready. Adding minerals, testing pH, and making a tub into a quarantine tank because I hadn’t disinfected my 5 gallon yet. I got amano shrimp to eat hair algae. Finally!! I also got a new school of cardinal tetras. Currently I only have two tetras and that’s not enough! So here they are, named after my mom who got me an Aqua Huna gift card for Christmas. Introducing the School of Dr. Neidecker!
Dancing Matt
I tried to put my betta with my corydoras and it didn't work... So I re-did the betta tank. The cup picture is after the bullying, waiting for a new scape.
Hobbit
@Dancing Matt I love that last picture. It looks like he’s regretting his bad behavior. 😄
BettasAreSuperior
I added some fertilizer. More aquarium plants are coming, Gotta plant those. (the new plants aren't from aquarium co-op! Sorry! Please don't hurt me, lol!) That's about it. ChemBob
Got a 100 gallon mini pond today. Also got the 17 gallon "muck bucket" to us as my pond quarantine. Must resist the urge for it to become more than a quarantine pond.....

Machete
I had an eventful day today. When I was about to head to the store to get fish for my 10 gallon I noticed one of my otos in the 40 breeder had a pretty bad fungal infection. Went to the big buck store to get a cheap quarantine tank and put the oto there with antifungal medication, but I don't think he's gonna make it 😔. I'm keeping an eye on the other fish in the 40 gallon in case there's another sick one. After that I went to my LFS and got me a pretty cool betta (my first one!) and some celestial pearl danios for the 10 gallon. I'm excited about these guys! 4

Hobbit
17 hours ago, Machete said: I had a pygmy cory that looked exactly like that, with one fin totally fuzzed. I set up a quarantine bowl and let it sit overnight with seasoned gravel to let the bacteria settle in, and the next day the cory was totally fine. I was sooooo confused. But I hope you have the same luck!

Andy's Fish Den
Did a water change, trimmed plants and cleaned filter sponges on my 93 cube tank. It hasn't had a water change since the day before Thanksgiving, just added water from evaporation. I got lazy during holidays and everything to bring supplies upstairs and get Python hooked up to clean.
mouseturd13
I ordered some nerite snails from aquahuna to help with the extra algae I've been having. I guess I have been overfeeding, but my ten gallon just collects waste so fast I am feeding less but having trouble keeping up with maintenance as often as it needs it. Hopefully the little guys will help me! 🙂
Andy's Fish Den
I found eggs in a mop from my Aspidoras spilotus yesterday, so have them incubating. Also pulled some eggs from mops in my gardneri killifish, have those water incubating.
