Thanks for your input however money is not an issue as the oxygen generator is free and runs indefinitely
-
???

I know its a medical device but what does that imply I thought it would be beneficial for fish to have ample oxegen.. as it is for me.Are you saying that fish can have too much oxygen?
-
Why?

What are your thoughts on putting oxygen into tanks.I sleep with an oxygen generator and can put it in my tanks.Any thoughts on this.I posted this once and didn't get any responses which seemed odd to me.All these people here I would think someone would have some experience with this

I have to have oxygen when I sleep at night.Would it be beneficial to run oxygen from my oxygen generator to an airstone or sponge filter?zit would seem so to me but thought I'd ask around and get second opinions.

Question: HOB filter and feeding brine shrimp
Dirtydave replied to CitizenSneaky's topic in General Discussion
Yes that's good advice ,what I'm saying is that I don't believe people generally do tjat.i think you are giving the average aquarist more credit than is do because my experiences on typical Facebook groups leads me to think otherwise. God may have put a limit on man's knowledge but no limit on his stupidity. 🙄 -

Question: HOB filter and feeding brine shrimp

I agree except for the part about people generally feeding the bbs in 5 min.maybe on this forum but in your general Facebook group i think it's doubtful. -
Question: HOB filter and feeding brine shrimp
Dirtydave replied to CitizenSneaky's topic in General Discussion
I have pre-filter on all my hob filters so not a problem that way.Otherwise many could be sucked into your filter. Not good. Not much different than leaving a dead fish in your tank. You might be able to get away with it but a pre-filter is inexpensive fro Aquarium coop and is added biological filtration,in addition you will have to clean your hob that much less often.A win win for sure -

In the first pics you posted, female up top and male bottom. The males are much more aggressive, that's why cory doesn't carry them in his store. The other pics look like the camera was on acid

I guess I misunderstood. You had given the numbers on both so I thought they both an issue to you. I was just addressing the nitrates.
