    I use kosher salt just because that's what I cook with but dean uses plain rockmelt and who here has the knowledge to argue with him.

    Exotic Aquarium Fishes by Dr.william T. Innes.I had this 560 page book about memorized when I first got it,52 years ago.Got back into fish keeping this past year and had to get it again. Still very pertinent.

    Amazon has them.Can buy in sets or individually. Really reasonable too.They come in sizes ranging from 1/2 inch.to 100 mesh. I used them in making Fireworks.
