  1. Also they’re a fun fish. I would love to do some target breeding, but don’t have the space. Do you??
  2. Rescaped the 63 gal today: And I’m also slowly preparing a 63 litre aquarium for a shrimp army and I thought that a large group of stones might be good for Anubias propagation. Any thoughts?? Sadly, Pippa shall be leaving today. She’s come a long from the emaciated little thing that arrived in December. I hope that you guys have enjoyed all the cute pup pics. 😁
  3. Haven’t bred these before, but they’re a fish which is on my ‘one day’ list and I can’t wait to see how this turns out!
  4. I’m with @The endler guy, when they look like they’re about to pop out them in a net breeder with some old aquarium plant pots as hiding places for the fry.
  5. Wow. They have come a long way! 😂
  6. Added an Anubias 3-4 days before I found it, but it is the same size as the fresh batch of fry I saw the day I spotted it.
  7. Habrosus? I used to keep some with a betta, and they were best mates!
  8. A couple of days ago, I was feeding my 8 gal Endler tank when I spotted some new fry. Upon inspection, I spotted that in the loose group of ~ 10 fry, there was one who was surprisingly gold! Here it is on the day it was spotted: And here it is today (comparison with siblings): Any ideas on how this happened? The parents are relatively normal: So what is it? Junk DNA making a rare appearance? Either way I’m quite chuffed. 😁
  9. Welcome to the forum @Barb! Does your username come from your favorite fish?
  10. Maybe try setting up a breeding tank? Plastic Tubs usually work fine once rinsed…
  11. We all have those moments! Once I was getting really good pics of white clouds sparring, then realized that I was just pressing the recording button on and off. 😏
  12. Hmm…shrimp tend to be opportunistic egg-eaters in my experience; do you have any??
  13. And a “Good Luck” one too for breeding attempts & stuff. Maybe a 🍀?
