Pekitivey
Didn't do a good enough job rinsing 25kg of gravel for my new 240L Oscar tank so went in with a gravel vac and removed a lot of the filth/dust that comes with new gravel. Still a new ish tank and not got a lot of "SEASONED TANK TIME" so will do sponges from the large internal Eheim filter in another few days, im guessing a lot of dust has gotten on there. Also put a zizz bubbler filter on the tank. The Oscar is really enjoying checking it out. Plus some water changes on my other two (much smaller) tanks. yannachka
caught all the fish and plants, removed all the hardscape, and drained the jungle tank. gotta reseal some things in the waterfall but i plan to have it back running by the end of the week. stratum is very dirty haha. hoping my boss lets me hop on the order for next week and get some fish in 🤞

I am really looking forward to watching these guys grow. My son is the catfish fan in the family and he has a couple of these in his tank. We're hoping we have a pair, but it'll be a while before we know. In the meantime, I've fallen in love with them. They're cute and gorgeous all at the same time. Here's hoping for babies sometime next year!
ForestJenn
Spent the evening setting up a quarantine tank and then working on the plague of algae in my 40 gallon. At this point I think I'm ready to leave the lights off during the day and just turning them on for a few hours in the evening. The tank is not in front of a window but we have large windows all over the place and I think it's getting too much natural light. It's the only tank with a problem and a problem it is. Lots of long green hair algae!

Garren
Replaced my Marineland biowheel HOB with a aquaclear 70. So far I like. I really like that I can fit more media in it and adjust the flow. Just slipped on the pre-filter from the marineland with no issues.

ADMWNDSR83
During my daily status update, noticed a runner peeking up through the sand a few inches away from the dwarf sag I planted Monday! It appears something can grow in that box!
Ben_RF
Changed out the substrate in my 35 gallon hexagon tank. I may do this every few years, but it always unnerves me as I get worried that I will make the tank uninhabitable.

Rikostan
I had a surprise Sunday delivery of substrate, so I finished putting it in the 55 gallon. I also planted all the stuff I had on hand, but I am waiting on some nana petite and some micro sword from the Co-Op to complete it. Just waiting for it to cycle now, so I can get my first rainbow fish. Edited October 5, 2020 by Rikostan
