    Since you lost some zebra danios (which I am very sorry for you loss) I would do a 25% partial water change. 80 degrees may be too hot for zebra danios when prefer around 72. Normally when fish get red gills it’s from New Tank Syndrome or ph levels but yours seem okay. Did you know that your fish were sick? Hope your fish get better! ALSO WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!! I love your tank btw!

    Y’all are making me so hungry I’m going to Dominoes tommorow. Lol I used to go down to my grandparents place and they had this INSANE pizza place called Evaroni’s I actually ate like 6 or 7 in a day then I threw up that night. 😂

    I have made my own breeding mops with fishing bobbers and green acrylic yarn. Luckily I have one spare extra one! I have some giant duckweed in there but mostly regular duckweed.

    White clouds are a good choice. I have a group of them in a 5 gallon and they are very happy. Story time: A long time ago I had three white clouds in a 3 gallon. Note It was when I was super new to fishkeeping. I had one white cloud that lived for about 4 years. He lived through new tank syndrome and everything a beginner hobbyist would go through. HE LIVED THROUGH ALL THAT. They are the hardiest fish in my opinion and I would definetly go with them.

    Its okay since its your first fish all beginner hobbyists make mistakes. Also good job on being a good fish parent and taking measures to try to help it! Hope your fish gets better!

    I use fritz Aquarium salt. It's probably the best choice for salt but Epson salt should work too. My LFS has it for 3 dollars for the big thing of it so you might be able to find it for cheap.     I would also like to get some cool pond plants any ideas other than giant duckweed and duckweed. (which I already have)

    They should make something like a ring for a doorbell but for fish. Like if your Guppies just had babies it would give you a notification on your phone. And like @GameCzar you could check up on them during the day.
