I have had them drop the eggs then go on to have several successful batches.

DOes look like shes dropping the eggs.

If the one batch grows faster and eats the other batch.....Is that going to be considered a win or a loss?

Yep….no issues were observed while I have had them. Heck I don’t think there is a mean Kuhli on the planet…lol

Thats exactly the way I did it. One squirt in a standard spray bottle with tap water and give everything a good wet down. Fert is Fert and this made it easy for my wife to make without me having to measure chemicals. Best of all...the stuff works. Awesome looking plant! For all the Pothos lovers out there…eat your hearts out!!

WOW I remember that experiment. I went ahead and ate the celery but hey...I was hungry! In the case of the Meth blue and Malachite Green. The dye is the active ingredient. SO for those two. They are definitely affected. I wonder if when @Cory was testing the med trio if he did it with any plants involved. My guess would be no because usually your QT tank is bare but I am thinking of the people who dose their tanks because the entire tank is affected. Should we be dosing differently because of the plants is what has me asking this question.

I would immediately suspect worms and a fungus. I would hit that guy with the entire med trio and do it fast.

The biggest joy I have from my aquarium keeping is knowing the effect my tanks are have on the rest of the world. If it wasnt for my aquariums...I would be plotting the destruction of the planet and burning it to the ground. But my little fishies keep my mind entertained and off of such things. 😈

5-6 easily and get a friend for the snail. When I had one mystery snail he was ok...got him a friend and they "play" all over the tank together...LOL

After the Marinade....we will be sautéing in a light garlic balsamic vinaigrette to bring out the best in the fish😋

I would do nothing and let everything settle in and get happy for a bit longer. I know the urge to get fish is overwhelming but patience at this stage pays off big dividends later on I promise.

While in another thread a thought occurred to me that I am wondering about both from a random thought and what I visually witnessed. So the thought...Does having plants in a tank make the medications less effective because the plants uptake the meds and weaken them? Now before you just to a conclusion what I witnessed was this. I recently get cory eggs. I harvested the eggs and put them in a specimen container with 2 drops of meth blue for fungus reasons. I knew they took 3-5 days to hatch so on the 3rd day I knew I was close so I put some guppy grass in the container so if they hatched while at work they would have some micro stuff to munch on if necessary....well in 48 hours all of the blue was gone....as if somebody did a 100% water change. That leads me to believe the plants up took the meth blue and cleaned the water. Now I do not know if they do the same with other meds.

ALl of that reasoning sounded like it came out of my mouth the entire way!!!

WOW....been busy have we...🤣 @Guppysnail You can take the terracotta pot and soak it overnight...then the next morning rub the side of the pot on very coarse sandpaper or the sidewalk for that matter and it will sand a flat spot on the pot edge and it will not roll.
