  1. YOU OWE ME A KEYBOARD!!! I just spit my coffee all over it when I read that!!!🤣
  2. I respect your view and there are no hard feelings but could you explain what your obvious reasons are to me?
  3. @Phantom240 Just a thought but if you are getting the babies every week...that is a constant source of money for you....Can you grow them a little bit in a tub outside and then sell them to the fish store. Hell I would take some of those they look in great shape!!
  4. WOW....700 for the totes and 500 to ship...thats crazy but hey it is what it is😱
  5. Just for shits and giggles...how many were you looking to get and what was the final price shipped to you.
  6. Here is the totes he has in his dream crush room https://www.dacocorp.com/containers-totes-bins/bulk-containers/bf-series#1
  7. THERE IS ALWAYS ONE!!! 😂🤣😂
  8. Yes it is uncommon....or well it used to be. The setup you are showing is what we are building by getting a heater with external controller. We are taking 2 separate pieces and making what yours comes as standard. Of course Japan gets it right...LOL
  9. THESE THINGS ARE AMAING!!!! I am going to need a much much MUCH bigger fish room!! This crab tank sitting next to the polypterous and opposite the Shell Dwellers which is cady corner to the Axolotl...I want them all!!!
  10. I am really liking those fish. I know they are a cold water fish so I hope you dont mind if I live vicariously thru you on this journey! Wishing you the utmost luck sir!
  11. For some odd reason the world has gone and gotten itself into a big hurry. We are currently in the "I want it now" phase of living. Everyday in my work I get people who want things immediately....doesnt matter that there are 5 people ahead of them they want it now and then get upset when they find out the 5 people ahead of them get served first. Its the same for our aquariums....I brought it home 10 min ago ...why are there no fish in it yet....its fish and water whats the problem. I have lost lots of fish in my years of doing this and mostly from me trying to rush thing along thinking that I am going to be the one who beats the odds. WRONG! Now I move slow take my time and really try to make sure I do everything I can to ensure the life that I have taken charge of gets the very best care and for me if that means waiting an extra few days to get that fish or do an extra water change or feed better food. Thats what I do.
  12. I missed the one in Orlando where I could have driven to it. That pissed me off something fierce! Cant say I dreamed that up...I got it from his video as well. I have used it on pieces of drift wood as well.
  13. I have actually gone to taking small rocks or slate pieces and coating them with the repashy so they can eat it without it moving all over the place. They can hang and graze like they would in the wild.
  14. It was a ton of work to set up but now that it is done it practically takes care of itself.
  15. I have never had a problem of it not being stable. It usually lasts in my tank about 24 hours....it doesnt last longer because they eat everything in sight.
  16. I currently have 20 fish tanks and am in the process of adding another rack which should hold 15 more. I wish I had a basement!! Imagine the things I could do with that.....🤗
  17. You point out a very valid issue @ZenzoWith inexperienced (new) fish keepers, I do not think they would want to set up an aquarium with nothing in it but the substrate and go thru the fishless cycle looking at it bare for a few weeks. Definitely no fun. Not to mention its harder to plant the aquarium after its full of water. As @Zenzosaid....Technically you both are right but from a new keepers perspective....If I cant have fish right away...let me at least be able to setup the hardscape and plants and have something beautiful to look at while I am waiting for it to finish cycling. Yes I know it will take longer but the plants will start growing and who knows...a snail might show up to the party and you will sit and watch that snail make its way all around that tank.
  18. My house is actually kept at 75. The fish room at 80. I have 3 fans in the fish room to to keep the air moving and it really doesnt feel bad in there at all. It is also where my Gaming Computer is so I spend alot of time in that room and never find it that bad at all.
  19. Isnt it nice to get morning wood on demand and then be able to spice it up as needed. Ahhh technology these days😂 Fish Food has come so far in the last 20 years with so many options its a buyers dream come true
  20. Let’s see what going on at home shall we…this is InkBird tech… So the outside air temp at my pond is 80.2 and the water temp is 78.3 my water temps fluctuate about 5 degrees from its highest to its lowest in 24 hours. In the fish room my air temp is 82.8 and the water temp is 80.6 . Looking at the last 24 hour readout log…the water temp has changes .53 degrees from its highest to its lowest. Just look at those humidity values😱 Sorry boys and girls…no heater needed😁
  21. Who knows...maybe some day I will require having a heater in the tank.....Just wont be today🤣
