  1. Hi, usually at least one plant, usually more, food, and miscellaneous stuff, like scissors, merch, pipets, chemicals, etc. I've made a goal that if I'm ordering from the Coop to try to get at least one new food to try to further spoil my fish lol. The free sticker is great as well!
  2. Bit late to the sticker party, I stuck one of mine on my transmitter for my drones.
  3. Really any way is good for me, although dipped in batter then served fried with a side of chips, and lemon &/or ketchup is amazing. I feed them, then I'll usually also bring a chair over and sit in front of my tank at least once a week, usually more. Sometimes I'll also work, read, or write forum posts in front of it as well!
  4. On the younger end here. Currently have a dirted Wastad 5.5 with a bunch of inverts, microfauna, and a betta, I love the way it came out, plus just trimming the plants and feeding the animals is all I have to do for maintenance!

  9. Hi, for substrate I LOVE my planted dirted tank. You can get a good sized bag for under $20 at a hardware store, then cap it with something like pool filter sand, or in my case Fluval Stratum, however the latter can be rather expensive. I agree that to aquascape just arrange stuff that looks good to you in a configuration that looks interesting. In my opinion mostly just do what looks good to you, and don't worry what other people think about it, there are tons of different ways to aquascape! Cory also made a livestream about aquascaping if you want to research a bit more, and for some pointers Irene also made a really good video about starting a planted aquarium cheaply that I like As for what type of plants just whatever looks best, and has colours and textures you like. If you're looking for a particular plant to try I love Pogostemon stellatus, it grows fast and looks good, Anubias nana petite is also a favourite for me because of it's size and hardiness. I've heard a lot of good stuff about crypts as well, particularly for low light setups. Good luck!
  10. Hi in my dirted Walstad tank I feed my betta the Xtreme Betta Pellets twice a day with 2 pellets in the morning and 3 at night on Monday through Thursday, then Saturday. Sunday I fast him, then on Fridays I feed the usual in the morning then freeze dried brine shrimp at night. Like the post above I don't really have a usual time for feeding, more of just based on what part of the day it is. My shrimp (and snails when they find it) get fed with shrimp food and sometimes krill flakes every Friday as well. I'll also just drop in some more food over the course of the week if I feel like it, right now I have some boiled summer squash in there! I haven't done a water change since soon after the tank was set up, and last I checked my nitrates were at 0 (with the plants still thriving).
  11. Hi, to me that looks kind of like a floating piece of water sprite? I've had at least one that looks similar, with the roots coming down, and an appearance similar to a fern with a bunch of leaves coming out of a central point. The new growth also seems similar with the curled up leaf growing from a central point also like water sprite. Hope this helps!
  12. 5 gallon betta tank (usually has a different light but I decided to use a dimmer one here that also has a warmer colour). Stocked with a betta, breeding colony of cherry shrimp, and probably enough snails to make a carpet in my foreground.

  17. Thanks, @BenA are there any methods I could use to dull some of the edges? It’s not razor blade sharp, but still has some jagged edges. Thanks!
  18. Hi, so I was wondering if it would be dangerous, or hurt a hillstream loach if I were to put ohko/dragon stone into an aquarium since the edges are sharp and they might try getting algae from the rock? I've seen some people saying it's fine to put kuhli loaches with ohko stone, and the two species seem share the same behaviour of scavenging around on the bottom from what I've seen on YouTube? Thanks!
  19. Wish I lived closer to the Coop, although the fully stocked aquarium I have would like to disagree. Hope everyone had a great 4th!
  20. Aww! When I was looking through the pictures of my betta I was really surprised that this is how small I got him as, and how much he's grown since then. This is when I first got him in August 2020. For context the gravel is around a centimeter (around 0.4 inches), plus minus 3-4 millimeters (About 0.1 of an inch to roughly 0.2 of an inch). This was him late November 2020 (The picture for my first Aquarium Meme too!) First time with plants and a light (January 2020 - I had set up the tank a few days prior to this picture) And this is him today A lot's changed since then, I didn't have plants or a light back then so my lighting's not great in some, plus he's grown a LOT over the year.
  21. I love the nana petite version of anubias, it's really hardy, and the one species I haven't managed to completely kill. (I ordered some anubias nana, barteri, and nana petite) All of them died except one of the 2 nana petites I had gotten. This one didn't come in perfect, it was a bit low on how many leaves I would've liked, so I put in in an area where I was expecting it to stall in terms of growth, however after I killed the rest of mine this is still going strong, and putting out several new leaves! The species also looks really good as well! A day after it was planted (about 6 months ago) Today
