  1. I was at the new place to take a few shots of the progress. Got to fly the drone too! Very exciting stuff on the way. 🙂
  2. I've used it and also made a video. Before making the video, I've only used it for a week. After a week or so, it started getting clogged. The sponge part is fairly small, although its quite coarse, it clogged fairly quick. I had another one of them malfunction a month after. Not my favorite but if someone gives me one, I'll use it til it breaks. Since then I told myself to use a product for a month before making a video lol.. that's really the only lesson I learned.
  3. An older nano that I broke down before my move and the newly scaped one.. still need more plants.
  4. Yup. I have another angle that totally looks like that.
  5. Those that have watched my channel know I've gone through 2 other versions of a groot tank. Being at an apartment I couldn't have anything more than 5 gallons, so I rescaped my 2 gallon and made Groot my centerpiece. I've added some Marimo Moss Ball as a carpet on the rocks but have yet to take a photo. UNS 25s 2 Gallon Fluval Nano Light Lava Rock Anubias Nana Petite Crypt Lucens
  6. An update. I got some Endlers and Daisy Rice fish in. Pond is running smooth so far. 🙂
  7. Hello folks! Jimmy of Aquarium Co-Op here with my latest little creation, my pond. Using a 12g Resin Whiskey Barrel - $20 = Found here @ Home Depot I put together a quick pond on my porch. We settled into an apartment that did not allow fish tanks over 5g inside the house but really didn't say anything about the outside ☺️. I swung by Aquarium Co-Op today and grabbed some crushed coral, plants and had an employee squeeze the dirtiest sponge filter we could find into a bag for a quick cycle. Using old hardscape, I built a fun little setup and didn't even break the bank. I'll get some more photos in the morning but this is a start of a fun little journal.
  8. I took this awhile back.. looks like yours.
  9. Back when I first stepped foot in the warehouse. Cold and empty. It's come a very long way.
  10. Some shot's of my dominate male showing some teeth.
  11. Welcome! Sweet tanks and cute puffer!
  12. Good day! My name is Jimmy. Fish keeper for about 5ish years. Photographer/Videographer for 3 years. Human for 36. Being the editor for Aquarium Co-Op, I handle most videos, photos and graphics for a lot of what we publish. As for my aquariums, I like them green and neat. I focus mainly on community fish as some of my favorites are Celestial Pearl Danio's, Rainbowfish (Pseudomugil luminatus, Melanotaenia Herbertaxelrodi) and some fancy cories. I probably get it from my dad as he had several tanks during my childhood. My hobbies are a plenty but it usually involves a camera so instead of me explaining what I love, I'll show ya!
  13. This should be an inspiration to others as far as detail and information goes! Once, I get my new place and tanks setup I hope to write about it as I plan to run all my tanks with solar power.
  14. Love the chain of events that lead you here. Always fun to hear about the origin stories with fish nerds. :)
  15. Am I getting in this and planting it or what!? just don't leave ladybird in there while i'm in there.. she freaks me out. haha
