My wifes pet (European Starling) he likes me better and will sit on my shoulder while I'm watching TV.

Edit:  He was homed at our senior center and was not properly taken care of.  My wife adopted him and he is now a much healthier bird.  He was just plain ragged at the center, pulling out his feathers, real skinny.  He is living like a king here.

Hi there, this is my 1st post on here. Speaking of other pets, I now have 5 cats and 5 aquariums. We just lost our 13 year old dog about a month ago, so that is taking some getting used to. But there is never a dull moment with these guys around! Dog is Izabel (RIP sweet girl) The black cat is Dahlia (5yrs old), the 2 laying together ars littermates, Violet and Blue (Blue is my only boy kitty, the gray one) then the white/striped on is Mina, she is the oldest (almost 12) and the big one is Raven. She is actually the biological older sister of Blue and Violet. Same mom and most likely dad. She is 4 and the "babies" will be 3. Blue is the only one that messes with any tanks and it's only 1 of them, he likes to grab ahold of the airline tubing and actually pull my sponge filter to the top of the water. Thanks for looking guys!

We had a potbelly pig before that lived in our house.

What kind of pigs are those? If they are kune kune, my wife and boys have been looking into those to add to our menagerie out in our barn.

I’m still tanking, but I haven’t been very active on the forum lately because we added a puppy to our family. We looked for several weeks and bought a newborn puppy a few months back. He came to live with us in late July, and learning how to take care of an 8- 10 week puppy has consumed much of my hobby time.

Anyway, I finally get to post on this thread. Here is Bentley our 10 week old Shorkie.

Not our pet but we have been caring for a European Starling since the start of this Covid thing.  Knows quite a few words & phrases and also mimics crickets and a cat meow!   I'll try and get some video of his speech this weekend.

Some of what he says.

Come here

Where's the kitty

What are you doing

Bird bird bird bird bird bird

It's especially funny when he starts jumbling them together!

Oh and he also has a couple laughs.

Oooh, sweet. I raised a starling once, about 25 years ago. Every summer when I hear baby starlings calling to their parents to be fed, I still get a little adrenalin rush like "Gotta go feed the baby bird!". I don't know what people feed baby starlings now but back then it was Mighty Dog canned dog food mixed with baby rice cereal and something else...maybe applesauce? Good golly it made a mess! But it worked and the baby grew up fine.
