I would do that until the apistos get full size then I would maybe upgrade to a 20 gallon but right now I think it would be fine as long as you keep a close check on you parameters! Have fun and hope you get some fry!

Say at Moes (Sorry in advance for be being addicted to tacos and always using it as a reference) they are selling burritos and they have a sign on the front door that says "Buy one get one free at Taco Bell." Do you think you would want to buy at Taco Bell, Or Moes? If you were me I would definitely buy it at Taco Bell because they are the one with the deals so it's basically like saying someone sends a link to a competitor that has a buy one get one free deal on Crypts and Aquarium Co-Op doesen't most likely unless you are a Die Hard Co-Op fan then you will buy the Crypts from the Competitor and soon that website will be booming and aquarium Co-Op sales will go down. Sorry for being super confusing but I hope this makes sense

They aren't the smallest pleco but I think they would look really good in a 55 gallon tank. Maybe a pair?

Okay for small pleco's I would suggest the bristlenose.

I was wondering that but the leaves are very thin. I have another bacopa and the leaves are really thick. At the top its red and when I first got the plant it was a reddish greenish color so I was thinking a rotala species but it's survived in my low light setup so idk.

So I’ve had this plant in my other tanks for a while and was wondering what it is I just added it to my higher light 5 gallon. It’s the one in the front.

Yes normally all my shrimp molt right when I added them to the tank. But my shrimp molt all the time so it’s hard to tell.

Definitely hornwort I have it in all my tanks and pond and it’s a super easy to care for plant and it’s the best way to get rid of nitrites.

Clifford... Sorry I had to do that. 😂 I would set him up a 5 gallon with some lucky bamboo and TONS of Crypts. And maybe source some cool driftwood from a local lake, creek, or pond. That’s all I have in ideas. Your betta is amazing. 🤩
