  1. Fill the cubbies with books that fit tightly, top and bottom cubbies. If you don't care about looks get a sheet of hardwood that you can put in the cubbies to take the wait. They need to fit very tightly
  2. Oh I think you're right! Thanks so much!
  3. Also can someone help me figure out what this one is?
  4. It may be red ludwigia repens! I'm leaning towards that more than other things now. Thank you!
  5. I think the leaves are too broad to be that but it does look similar
  6. Just trying to identify this. The person I got it from couldn't remember what it is.
  7. The Co Op has a good blog post I found so I am doing what they said in it and I'm starving out my fish for a few days
  8. This is my first experience with it so I just wanted to make sure. I do have platy fry so I'll look into medicine. I have ramshorn and a few bladder snails so 🤞 that they'll help. Thanks!
  9. Can anyone identify what this is and if I need to get rid of it?
  10. Cut and shove a long piece of coarse foam into the intake tube. Added filtration/bacteria capacity and it slows your flow
  11. I'm hoping someone can identify and add a little advice on some plants
  12. Honey gourami, Betta, or angel fish could work too!
  13. Tiger Barbs are amazing and only get nippy with each other if they are unhappy. But with wcm... They will pick on them quite a lot. Usually you only keep other fish with tiger Barb if they are bigger than them, in my experience. I have tigers with yoyo loach and they've sorted their differences and are GREAT together! Oh! Also plants like pogostemon octopus are really good for tiger Barb. Mine use them as cover in the evening and night time.
  14. Mine is like an hour and a half. Live in a 55k plus city and a very small aquarist presence
  15. I know this isn't super unique.... But a really good looking Betta in a 7.5 just looks 👌👌
  16. My barbs do this in the bubble streams ALL the time. They are used to river and swimming against flow so it is not uncommon for them to do this and be perfectly healthy
  17. Of it is a female it could also be that an egg is stuck. It is untreatable
  18. Yes a rock catfish! I was surprised thinking it was likely a stone catfish. He is VERY shy. Only comes out from about 12-7am
  19. So I recently rescued one of these rock catfish from another hobbyist that was overwhelmed with their semi aggressive tank. I am not sure what this thing likes to eat.... Please help!
  20. You can always pre-crush the snails... May be too much for some but it works
  21. From what I've seen it sounds like it's just a preference. My pleco only ate the wafer if there was nothing growing on anything else. If you're feeding multiple things at the same time they'll eat what they like least last.
