    I visited my folks today. I was focused on tech support and some health updates, but I took a few photos: I still need to do a water change for visibility reasons, add some more plants, increase the lighting, and bring some more shrimp for my mom. I’m not sure there is enough algae and biofilm for shrimp though. My mom also asked for more Xtreme flakes, since she reports that the White Clouds love them! Bonus: Anubias flower!

    Vermont here. We are cold and challenging in the winter, with lots of snow fun in The Green Mountains. Summer we are like the Shire, but with Lake Champlain.

    The Nano is more narrow and taller than the Small. I will choose for my tiny tanks based on tank height and substrate depth, some with and some without lift-tubes.

    @Patrick_G, You set this tank up for success. Now let it get messy, and don't worry about the glass.

    @Trish, did you notice a new keyboard? I do so much typing on so many keyboards that I am not as picky as I would be if I were only using my own devices. I always align myself squarely with any keyboard, and do not type diagonally or offset.

    @Acara Mom, please keep going. I have some tanks and buckets that I just keep going to see what will happen, with no plan. As long as I am keeping things alive, it is fun to let these ecosystems run!

    Videos can have some good info, but with forum tank journals, you can see how members deal with tanks over the course of months and years.

    @Acara Mom, I was getting tons of hair algae in just one tank, despite running the same settings with multiple tanks. This tank was in a different room, and the windows were driving the additional algae growth. I have it documented in my Indoor journal.
