  1. Way to go @Atitagain! Yours was great too, @Ken Burke; I really enjoyed the share! Is that a snail I spot in pic 4?
  2. @Hobbit that fry slurper is genius. And the fish being slurped are.... slurpees? LOL
  3. If I use a flashlight while taking video I also get the flickering.
  4. Congratulations @Mmiller2001! Your tank is stunning.
  5. You can experience diving in a kelp forest in a game called Subnautica. It’s a cool underwater survival game, you can build an underwater base, etc. (And put aquariums in it too) I see the black tip reef sharks while diving. Also nurse sharks. On one of my night dives I remember the first thing I saw was a nurse shark. They are cool.
  6. I suspected that’s what they were! My little guys had that a few weeks ago. I was worried it was little worms or something attached but that didn’t make sense because they were evenly spaced. Would you believe some are marble sized already?
  7. On a side note, your tank is really beautiful @Tam
  8. If the poop is white, that is usually caused by parasites.
  9. What I was thinking the other day, when I was in the livestream, is that households with kids can portion the fish food into the medication organizer. The pillboxes that have the days of the week on them.
  10. Have you had the conversation with the little ones about quantity of fish food to feed? Reason I ask is because I was in a livestream the other night, and in the chat a lady was panicking because her son dumped a whole container of fry food (powder!) in a guppy tank.
  11. He woke up and I gently placed him down on the sand. He had a few more bites of green bean and began exploring. None of the tankmates paid him any mind. Here’s a photo that shows his color more true. And a few I took after the light kicked into moonlight mode. Pardon my plants. They are not too nice and need a trim!
  12. Naturally.. snails!! You got some beauties there! 😍 I’ve never seen a shell like that but I don’t think it’s a magenta because @Guppysnail has magentas, and hers’ shells are different. Really neat!! Something like that happened with my black neons. Back before the forum, before I quarantined anything.. there was an ick situation. And I had only 2 left in the school. Then eventually just 1. He ended up schooling with different tetras til I was able to get him some new buddies. I’m not great with plants but I think the first pic could either be frogbit or red root floaters. You’ve been busy! What a fun and exciting day!
  13. I like the structure of your research and experiments and how you show the results of each in your videos. I designate you the filter expert here, @Colu is the doctor who writes the prescriptions for sick fishies, and I can be mystery snail hatching consultant. 🙃
  14. Now he’s napping in the breeder box. I was gonna put him in the tank but he’s had a hard day with them swordtails. I didn’t know they were so aggressive towards snails. The lid is still off of the breeder box so he’s free to do as he pleases. Otherwise I will release him tomorrow morning. I just wanted him to have a little sanctuary where he could have some peace and enjoy dinner after his ordeal.
  15. @nabokovfan87 If I ever get a SeaChem tidal I’ll just mail it to you, you can “do some stuff” to it, and then send the better version back. Just don’t send any worms. 🤣
  16. The Jungle Fungus box says a dose every four days. Your instructions have a daily dosage. It worries me..? I have 2 doses in so far. Just want to make sure since you said Jungle Fungus can be overdosed.. are we ok to proceed?
  17. Each bundle of eggs is called a clutch. If you are interested in hatching snails, choose 1 clutch and click the link in my signature line below to get to my journal. It has the whole process of what to do.
