    Drops She said “maybe” when she added the cc, doesn’t remember- that was a week before the deaths. but she didn’t have her hands in the tank within the 2 days that the fish died. @nabokovfan87 she’s not gonna do the offgas test.. 😐 However she will test at the tap. She says the crushed coral she used is the size of aquarium gravel. It’s not dusty/sandy consistency

    It’s aragonite. See @nabokovfan87’s post above. Likely higher dosing required due to the sand content.

    This is aragonite. But the little white sticker says crushed coral. I am confused. 2 lb went to axolotl tank (29gal), and 2 lb went to this (10gal) tank.

    I boil a fresh one. You can use the canned ones without boiling but read the ingredients first. If you see salt, do not use that kind.

    Veggies do not really affect water quality. You can put the veggie into the tank in the morning and take it out in the evening. The snail will love a boiled green bean. Just make sure it has no salt.

    I will ask her. I know the tank has the Aqueon glass lid Also same cc used for axolotl tank. Axolotl is fine but he gets a lot of water changes because he is big and produces a lot of waste.

    👍 Hang in there little Riddick! THAT WOULD BE AMAZING! But no. Just gunk/algae. LOL Will clean on next maint. It has a tray in it that holds a spoon. But now that I have it, I've come to learn that you ignore the spoon - you just need to put some on a toothpick and dose it. That's all you need. Overdosing could cause bad stuff. Like detritus worm explosions and water quality problems. Fortunately read bunch of reviews before dosing, so I just put a "hint" of it in the shrimp tank. They seemed excited and more came out of hiding to enjoy it.
