@Fish Folk very clever livebearer setup, doesnt look like it will work too well raising fry though, they'd easily fall through the bottom.

yes anubias and peace lilies are in the same scientific genus or something like that.

@Harpsandfish stocking is a very complicated topic discussion when it comes to aquariums. From what it sounds like you should be fine adding the rummynose, however this is what i would do: Get 6, QT them, introduce them, check water parameters, if everything is still stable then get the rest, and add them in.(QTing and everything).

what did i do today? despite my orginazation i somehow missplaced my krilll spirulina flake, ill need to find that. still feeling 🤮 which led to this fun activity: fish are doing fine, ill do a longer post in the morning. i should get some BBS setup in my ziss hatchery tonight, so @TheSwissAquaristwe can keep competing, though i dont know what your "trick" is. Though it really depends how im feeling, as long as parameters are stable i will probably skip the WC tommorow, because i dont want to make a stupid mistake and ruin my floor if im not feeling well.- 377 replies

Aquariums under a microscope : a project
Theplatymaster replied to TheSwissAquarist's topic in Photos, Videos & Journals
i wanted to try this with some Stability. my science teacher asked what i wanted to put under a microscope i said "bacteria" she said no rather quickly. I need to get some green water under a microscope though, that sure sounds interesting.- 10 replies

Theplatymaster replied to Flying fox 6523's topic in General Discussion
ah, that makes sense. I know there is not much information on Panda Garras on the internet, if you decide to get some (no pressure, get what you want) feel free to Private Message me about their care. -

while chili and galaxy rasboras are both great fish to keep they are different speicies and will not school together, the 2 schools will just leave each other alone.

i think its not a last person standing contest, i think its a "whoever succeeds" contest, so i think we should both try again, because you wouldnt really be the Brine Shrimp master, you just kept them alive a few more hours then me,.- 377 replies

my dentist office has a very large aquarium in their lobby.
-
@GCH often the rasboras are sold in schools of 6 as that is the suggested minimum school size. if 2 were to pass away the rest might not be as happy, but should still live. if this has happened i reccomend getting more rasboras to increase your school size.

thats a good question, if they do ive never heard of it happening.Ive always heard they are very peaceful fish.. i just think its treating the platies, like it would treat other danios, chasing them around and such. @TheSwissAquaristhave you noticed anything like this with your danios?
