I am Theplatymaster, sorry if you get offended by my username, i started calling myself it and i like it. I have around 30 platies (20ish of them are fry) and have a planted 20gal. I am currently saving up to try a corydora breeding project and my favourite fish is the 3-lined corydora
Any tips for breeding them? I'm kinda limited to dry foods, and have a 5gal breeding tank. Same question for three lined cories, i just don't know which one i will be able to get. but i want to try to breed a smaller corydora
I'm having issues with a tank i just set up. It has a betta in it. Everyone says i am starving my betta because i am not feeding him on the weekends. This is not true, correct?
@quikv6 Very Hard and alkaline (around ph 8 ) they will want a slow sinking omnivore food. Maybe something like Xtreme Cichlid Delight? (I'm not sure though, not a cichlid expert)
I noticed that the small aquarium co op sponge filter is as long as the intake tube, and had the idea to combine the small filter with the medium filter to get the same amount of flow as the medium with the uptake tube, but get more filtration. This also means I have two pieces that i can clean separately and save some bacteria. Just sharing an idea. Please tell me if you like it, or don't think it will work.
I see zebra cichlids, (the striped ones), and Yellow labs (The yellow ones), these are both lake malawi cichlids and the rest are probably also.
Sorry, thats all i can recognize im not a cichlid expert.
