I personally would go with 8 120s or the 150 fat boys if you wanted a taller tank. however having 16 2 foot cubes would be cool as well. The build is looking great I joined the Nerms just to see the build in video. I look forward to seeing more thank you for all your hard work I haven't decided yet. So many options and many seem appealing.

We also need more space to store aquarium coop products for the warehouse. We had been “looking” for like 8 months for the perfect space but our requirements were odd, needed a building for a studio, fish room and storage and away from neighbors while still being close enough to town for good internet. Here are some pics snapped quickly with my cell phone of the starting space. And 1 picture of the view from today that my wife took. None of the stuff in these pictures is ours, they were from a day when we had an inspection done. now the task of getting this space ready, then moving the fish room and selling our old house is ahead of us. Administrators Cory Posted December 22, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted December 22, 2020 Had crazy rain and then snow last night. Found 2 more roof leaks. Flashing around a chimney and a different skylight leaking. Was already going to have all of the skylights replaced and reflagged but adding the chimneys as well now. Not a good time to be on septic. Be sure the check the mortar on the chimneys as well as the flashing. We had all our flashing replaced, only to find out what we really needed was repointing (mortar dug out and replaced).

Mitch_ScruffyCityAquatics
Loved the latest video of the fish room! Seeing this group of FishTubers just hanging out and building was fun. More content like this would be great. Although... Jimmy needs to take some time to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home. Those movies are too much fun to miss. 🤣
Ryan F
This is looking fantastic. I'd love to take a trip out west to visit (post pandemic). Not sure tours or public access are going to be a thing, but it is looking really cool. I like the sound of 16x 2 foot cubes. I feel like that offers a lot of opportunity for variety while still providing some "space for activities." I think that's small enough to be far more relatable to entry level hobbyists than the pond totes. Not knocking big tanks at all, I started design work on an 8ft long tank to sit between my kitchen and dining room. But that was a bridge to far for the SO. A 2 foot cube though shares dimensions with a 20g. Just wanted to pass along my thanks and express my on going interest in your work and this project. Dean’s Fishroom
Clicked this while shopping with Cory for just the first truckload of pipes and fittings we need to get the new indoor fish farm set up. Most of the fitting we bought all they had and still needed more.
OceanTruth
Wow, that is some serious plumbing needs! I'm assuming those big pipes are for draining all the tanks and ponds? It's really amazing the planning and ideas you guys put together.

Ryan F
That's some hefty pipe. I estimate those pipes are 4" times 10 gives you a capacity of 144,000 gallons per hour... that's before you even include the 10 3" pipes. Obviously that's assuming each pipe is in parallel. Given the size of the new fish room. I'd bet most of those pipes will be in series. Can't wait to see the next video. Aubrey
Could you harness the power of that stream behind your studio to power your fish room? Also could the drain water flow into it and possibly introduce non native species from your fish room?
