  1. @Widgets, I don’t have any additional data. All my images from iPhone or Photos on macOS behave properly on the forum.
  2. @Bev C, I have been searching for this thread to give a reply. I researched this topic. Images that are removed from posts should be deleted, but if the images are in a hidden post, they will remain. Do you have have an example that I can check?
  3. Dealing with shrimp fry and duckweed is my most ongoing nuisance, although I have gotten better over the years. I shake the duckweed to try to get the upside-down shrimp to swim away. I’m currently using my Askoll 20 as a shrimp and snail tank, and slowly moving some shrimp there. I’ve started just netting out duckweed and shrimp from smaller tanks and dropping them in the 20, so I can see what is going on, but then I have another phase of duckweed removal.
  4. I have only found one setting related to EXIF, and it is just about removing privacy-related data. If you look at the gallery, you can see that EXIF data is there: https://forum.aquariumcoop.com/gallery/category/1-member-albums/ We are retiring the gallery, but I’ll temporarily allow posting to it for folks to do some testing. CC: @Torrey
  5. Only duckweed fully clogs my HoB sponges.
  6. I was happy to learn that they used Jell-O for A Fish Called Wanda!
  7. Perfect is a momentary thing, like the final bite of an amazing dinner. We want stable ecosystems that support plant growth and fish health.
  8. @DaveO, I left that as an Easter egg! It is a piece of limestone reef that my dad dug up from the woods. He had to call a neighbor with a landscaping business to pull it out of the ground with a small backhoe, and drag it into the yard. The Lake Champlain basin is part of the oldest reef system in the world.
  9. I have used combs and hair picks to remove duckweed. I shake them to try to remove shrimp fry.
  10. I am still annoyed by duckweed management with shrimp fry. I’m not sure that it will ever get easier.
  11. @Flumpweesel, I was introduced to soccer early as kid, and I played for decades. We didn’t even have American football at my high school, and you had to try-out for the freshman soccer team. Soccer is and was a big deal in Vermont, and we trained with Total Football instruction from Cruyff.
  12. Nope. https://forum.aquariumcoop.com/guidelines/ Best to find a local club or a general neighborhood mailing list. In Vermont, we have Front Porch Forum for lost pets, yard sales, etc., limited to your local neighborhood.
  13. I just noticed that Manchester United Women are playing Everton at Old Trafford on NBC now!
  14. My favorite organic soil has come from local organic composters, but I choose the topsoil without food waste.
  15. YouTube TV has a Sports Plus option, with BeIN Sports, Fox Soccer Plus, GOL TV, and some other stuff: https://support.google.com/youtubetv/answer/10057534?hl=en
  16. @Jungle Fan, that song has become my motivational soundtrack for 2022! I was too cool for boy bands back in the day. Now that NKOTB are ironic and self-deprecating, (look at Donnie with the drumsticks), and middle-aged like me, I can't get enough. The collaboration was fantastic, and I think most of them performed together for a Boston or Foxborough show last year. I want to go see this live now! https://www.nkotb.com
  17. @Greg Stewart, I had grand plans for CO2, lights, etc. The monitoring, alarms, and leak detection kits are what I really appreciate today.
  18. @nabokovfan87, did the aquarium in the show survive?
  19. I treat Otocinclus like shrimp: they need a tank optimized for grazing, with algae, biofilm, plants, and wood.
  20. Summer tubs are a great way to try out organic soil tanks if you have never run them before!
  21. We use heavy APC units for every network closet at all of our sites. We need to keep internet and VoIP phones online. My primary home UPS is for my cable modem, router, AP. For aquarium technology, I have learned that you want the best sine wave power output. I also have an Apex that can detect when power is out even while connected to a UPS, so it can optimize what remains on while under battery backup.
