Battery USB backups incase of power outs
Streetwise replied to Patai3295's topic in General Discussion
I like seeing UPS threads. -
Thank you for starting this. I have been suffering as a Manchester United fan, but I keep watching! I have two Netherlands 🇳🇱 jerseys from WC heartbreaks. I was actually visiting the Netherlands as a kid, when the team returned from winning the 1988 Euros. I appreciate the memory more now, however faded.

We have reports about rotation, and there is a thread. We didn’t make any related settings changes, just a generic forum software update. There are a couple of pending third-party updates that need owner credentials. Check your devices for updates.

Is one 48" Plant 3.0 enough?
Streetwise replied to Minanora's topic in Plants, Algae, and Fertilizers
They keep all the programming. I only have to touch each light in the app to sync the time. You would only be offset temporarily if you had an outage before a midnight reset. I used to intentionally combine external timers with the internal programming to achieve siestas before we got pro mode. This was from a @Bentley Pascoe tip back in the day. -
Is one 48" Plant 3.0 enough?
Streetwise replied to Minanora's topic in Plants, Algae, and Fertilizers
@Seattle_Aquarist, here is an idea for your power situation that would still allow you to use the internal programming: Set your timers to go off and on at midnight. The light clocks start at midnight when power-cycled. -
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has settled quite well in his new team under Xavi. Should I merge this with the existing soccer thread, or should we start a new soccer thread with a curated first post with streaming info and such?

I found a thread about this: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/459118-ios-photos-are-uploaded-upside-down/ I’m on mobile, so I can’t look at all the system settings. Feel free to do more searches regarding Invision Community and image rotation or rotated images. -

Cyanobacteria in Deep Substrate?
Streetwise replied to AnsleyBleu's topic in Plants, Algae, and Fertilizers
Do you have window light? -
For rectilinear tanks, I do not like to center any hardscape. However, bow-front tanks look better with centered features. I like how the sloth-arm of the wood is reaching towards the center-front of the glass. More plants, please!

Artemis I rollout to pad 3/17: I was there!
Streetwise replied to clovenpine's topic in Off Topic General
This is awesome. Maybe you should edit the first post for a broad space title, and we can chat about space stuff here on an ongoing basis. -
@Cory and @Zenzo mentioned the hammock in his ‘yurt’ office. This is mine, waiting for spam reports from our forum Nerms: PS: Thanks for the spam reports!

Is Aquarium COOP teleporting products now?
Streetwise replied to Guppysnail's topic in General Discussion
My favorite thing is the delivery notification. I have used my lunch breaks to run home and drop cold plants into utility buckets. -

I have earthworms living in some of my tanks with organic soil. I only occasionally see them during siestas.

There are no additional EXIF settings on the forum, or sub-settings for the EXIF privacy setting that I shared. I posted a test image to the gallery, and it does show some limited EXIF data. -

We do have a privacy setting enabled, but it has been on for the life of the forum: "Sensitive EXIF data will be automatically stripped from uploaded images in order to ensure sensitive details (such as GPS geolocation data from images taken with mobile phones) is not retained" I feel like when I am going from Photos on my iPhone, or dragging from the Photos app on my Mac, the Photos app must be handling any conversion for me. I can't seem to get an upside down image, whether I shoot in JPEG or HEIF. -

The forum got a minor update, but I haven't noticed any photo bugs. Are you up-to-date with your phone OS and your computer? What photo software do you use? -

Make sure when you take phone photos, that the lens is always on the high side of the phone, even if you rotate. This means that there are two valid orientations. I only have occasional issues with top-down photos where the phone is basically flat, and happened to tilt it a little the wrong way. I usually rotate and crop to square things up before posting.
