Tomorrow is leak test on the new 40. Then Monday mom n dad get moved in. Pygmy tank gets upgraded into mom n dads. I’ll probably wait until Tuesday to move the baby pleco grow out over to the fish room. The cpd fry tank comes down but the Pygmy tank gets moved to the dressing room with the slow growing pleco babies. When the pleco babies go to their new home the boy guppy grow out gets put in the pleco baby tank then just the 10 left in the dressing room as a plant grow/qt. Feels like fish 3 card monte 🤣

I put all three stands together today everything’s out of the fish room that is not fish related. I’m so excited and exhausted. I got some lucky bamboo for the tanks because I love the look and after reading @dasaltemelosguy alternative nitrate reduction thread I just had to. 08F1F6E9-2ED4-420B-B8CE-3A4951408E68.jpeg.eeb8a608055796c92c6fd01bbb0dcd29.jpeg

@dasaltemelosguy is getting everybody hooked on the lucky bamboo!  I always thought it looked kind of silly in vases, but the tall stuff sure looks good in a tank!

Ok so fish room is about 75% done. On the left of the door is mom n dad 40b. Left wall guppy fry/sorority grow out then pygmy cpd 20L right next to the window pleco baby grow out 20L then guppy/ panda corydora 29g community. F08F8A6C-0BB1-4103-8F08-535E4C54D735.jpeg.debbfbc513d95f9f0fb230e31c679f7c.jpeg417C6916-AE1D-494E-9355-1B0902718818.jpeg.51bc666edd48b770afb61e5f59494e77.jpeg

I still have 2 10g with guppy boys growing out. When the pleco babies go the boys go in the 20l with a makeover. 1-10 on the left comes down. One stays as plant/QT. I still need to cut egg crate for the backs of some to support the pothos and lucky bamboo. I’m going to use the glass suction cup planters to support the bamboo until it’s tall enough to reach the bottom

mom n dad cpd I added the largest cpd babies from the funny tank. They zoom all over the 40 they are all in heaven. I got 3” terra cotta pots for my stems. 9BE36E23-6704-454A-BE0A-38DE81B28C35.jpeg.69604a13a951aff8ef19a49024741847.jpeg
I used 2” pots in sorority for stems and the AR grew so much I split it so I had 2 more for the Pygmy tank. When the pleco baby tanks get redone I already have enough to make 2 more for it as well 😁500C32B6-2A71-4420-8507-808D8F289EAA.jpeg.178d2620b0824efabf25346c8564314b.jpeg

The rest of the CPD fry went in with the 6 in the Pygmy tank. I can no longer tell which was scooter. They all act like Pygmy cory now 🤪. They even zoom to the top with them but when they get there they look confused like what do we do up here 🤣 A7C66162-7D48-42C7-BF9E-DE90C4338B9E.jpeg.72e2f209a25fc4cc11c1c1683dd1eb9e.jpeg

the old Pygmy tank replaced the funny tank and any plant/wood/ terra cotta left over and a bunch of boy guppies got thrown in 🤣  I have bits and pieces of every plant floating used cycled filters but it does not have a canister like the other 6 so will come down when the plecos go and be kept for emergency use  295BD3E3-F429-4428-9D4A-58B4D4ADCF36.jpeg.e7177f3cdbde510437195ef51dfc8795.jpeg

Wow you have been BUSY!!! Everything looks great, if I remember right you was fairly nervous about the AR doing well? It is going so good for you it is beautiful the red is a definite eye catcher. And this one room will save a lot of time when doing maintenance, great work👍

Thank you. Busy is an understatement sun up to 1 hour before bed every night. I also tore apart the closet to store water tubs/buckets and a work table(soil to messy for pics🤣). I was worried because lots of folks talked of how hard it was to grow. I apparently got a very hardy variety. Yes no more dragging room to room equipment no more step stool and stepping back instead of down (OUCH🤣).

My little (I believe a girl) pleco I put in the guppy community is getting brave and BIG.  I’ve named her Angel  5525A3A0-387F-4AB8-A37C-0BA0DFFA08AE.jpeg.c587a30898c87c9dc295a99050f67f67.jpegD2C428CD-9375-4662-99DC-1C2613C1161B.jpeg.09e23ae65a218d23fd5f74cacebfcc39.jpeg

Lefty is doing great  AD6CBB0D-5C69-4A15-B79E-D5E86839D75E.jpeg.7f7e9ae50a63d45bae5da615d0c79849.jpeg

my three tiger lotus are doing well  the one with no bulb is hanging in 83EA3414-DF53-46D3-B973-5B8A08468BF5.jpeg.3b8d4c49ea1eb03aa0932857713abeab.jpeg

the one lost it’s leaves but is growing back really dark maroon  I hope it stays that color  it sent out a thick green shoot I was hoping it was replicating (do they do that?)  but then guppy girls played tug of war until it popped off  😕AF5DA3F9-C323-4B30-9F20-626B804A6D33.jpeg.8996d4b80ca2130e6f15c70b43faa083.jpeg

the last one kept its leaves and is growing a new oneA181BBD9-5221-4F24-B2D0-82F812F745F5.jpeg.622a77accd917ebc22987df7b047075c.jpeg

They do send out runners to replicate but typically, not until they are more mature/sizable.

Love to see Lefty doing so well!

I wish I could invite my forum friends over to enjoy my little slice of serenity. Since that’s not possible I made a video. As you can see many of the ideas from my forum friends were implemented and enhance my hobby thank you again. Special thanks to @dasaltemelosguy The egg crate was from a picture of his tanks months ago. I recut it to make a back shelf. The lucky bamboo was from his nitrate post..sorry not adventurous enough for cannabis yet 🤣

My fish room is not a fancy build or elaborate setup like some folks. It’s big box aquarium masters seapora and Aqueon tanks and stands. It’s very humble but the peace, joy slice of nature it brings to me are priceless. Thanks friends for sharing in my fish room 🤗

Everything looks great and organized. That’s a lot of guppies but should of expected nothing less I suppose. As soon as I’m done typing I’m looking up those full length hanging organizers on your closet door.
The plants seem to be adjusting well from the move. Did you have any problems with them?

Thanks. Yup million fish guppies. I got the baby door organizer  idea from an intro post by I think @William Lynch (sorry if that’s not right). I have no issues when I move plants because they are never rooted to anything and all my tanks run the same parameters.
