    Try catching him at night, usually works. I’ve also had problems catching cherry barbs in a 63 gal. God forbid I should ever catch hillstream loaches out of a 100 gal!

    Anything really, but Java Moss and micro sword look really nice as long as you have a couple of amanos to keep the algae in check. Dwarf hair grass is also v. cool.

    If you’re also a bit of a super saver when it comes to small non-fish aquarium stuff, try a credit card 💳 if you want to scrape algae. It works wonders

    Platys are able to bear up to 80 fry… wouldn’t surprise me if you stilll got a decent amount of survivors .

    I’m not exactly using Co-Op multi test strips so I can’t be certain and I don’t want to blow a decent chunk of $ on an electric meter. How should I lower it?

    tds: 7 ish gh/kh: 2-4 I gave up on interbreeding about 2 days ago because they just weren’t interested.

    Males tend to defend small territories in the wild, and mine was quite content downsizing from a 35 gal. Females also tend to be less aggressive, and therefore do better in community tanks.

    I caught this little blighter in my 10 gal cube, where I never even PUT more than one assassin snail in?!? I thought they were supposed to be asexual?
