  1. Thought I might also do a couple of prints like these for sale: It's a sort of tanks on tables and everybody walks around and buys stuff event.
  2. First of all: thanks everyone! I thought I'd try: Breeding White clouds and Hillstream loaches in a 20 gal Rearing fry and breeding shrimp and snails in a 15 gal Clown Killis, ricefish, and least killifish/endlers in a 20 gal. Taking Cherry Barbs, Marbled Corys, neon tetras, and fancy guppies shall be kept in my 63 gallon and brought out to breed in a 5 gal aquarium. Any thoughts?
  3. Shell dwellers do seem like a fun choice, @tolstoy21, seeing as they occupy the bottom half of the tank, maybe I could try breeding clown killis on the top.
  4. Thanks @anewbie, I expect that settles it, but I’ll just repeat my advice to wait a month and see if there’s any noticeable size difference.
  5. I have already done a sort of spreadsheet, by noting which species sell best and are always in stock in my LFS and online. Guppies seem like the best thing, but I’m after something with a bit more… pazazz
  6. May I suggest TheAquariumWiki in the future? or fishbase.org
  7. What species were they sold as? This kind of thing seems to be happening once a week or so, on the forum.
  8. Whichever’s bigger, if there’s no change after a month, they’re both females.
  9. Sounds like a bit of a dull combo to me, but anyways… Try adding a couple of female platys to the mix, neocaridina shrimp may not breed due to the shrimplets being eaten. If you really want something fun go for shell dwellers or a Mountain stream setup (hillstream loaches and danios or white clouds).
  10. Hello Nerms! I’m going to be a vendor at an aquarium event in march, organized by the Lausanne Aquarium Club, and I really want to turn up with some good stock to sell. I have about 10-15 guppies and most of your standard Tetras (neons, X-ray, etc). What other species could you recommend? Please say how to breed them. I’m only in high school but I want to give it my all and turn up with decent fish and plants to sell. Thanks!!!
  11. II have never seen that to be the case in dwarf crayfish. Where did you read that?
  12. Wow. I’d put my filter on overdrive to combat that and do a 30% water change
  13. Buy it! Breed it and sell it as a ‘stained’ Cory!
  14. I’m with @Odd Duck, they’re probably just melting back.
  15. To be honest, I have seen diamond tetras live perfectly fine with other Tetras, but if it's to be a biotope... Blue Acaras would be a good choice, as they are pretty beautiful! Aeneus corys would be a great clean up crew.
  16. Flowerhorns aren't exactly known for their resilience to diseases, it could be hole-in-the-head? Welcome to the forum btw!
  17. Congratulations on your fry! (I know it sounds like I'm awarding stuff for great French fries)
