  1. I have heard that sanding is supposed to work, but I seriously doubt that.
  2. Maybe consider moving it to another tank if you want to propagate it .
  3. Clean water is always vital when dealing with external diseases/bacteria.
  4. Whatever you do, don’t put any plecos in! Turns out they eat the plants. I found this out the hard way when my breeding colony of BN plecos wiped out the 10 plant jungle which had taken a year to grow!
  5. If you only have one fish just feed them frozen BS. I have heard that stores will occasionally sell BBS.
  6. Move as much as possible an just test to see if you can take the weight (just in case).
  7. Ah sorry it’s just that the post had been there for a long time.
  8. Do a 25% water change in two days time if it doesn’t go down, otherwise the balance of the aquarium maybe even more upset.
  9. Replying to take your topic off the 'Unanswered Topics' thing. It seems that @drewzero1doesn't want to be interviewed!
  10. Normally the nitrite level will go down as the plants start using the root tabs.
  11. Try Amano Shrimp, who usually work well at keeping it contained; and clean the worst of the stuff off by hand.
  12. The rock sounds like a great idea. I’ve never heard of the age of wood impacting it’s buoyancy.
  13. No I surf on them 🙃 If you live a couple of minutes away from the pistes it’s kind of a birthright.
  14. I must have missed that part ; my bad.
  15. I think @Cory had his specially made? (I'm tagging him to confirm (or not))
  16. Off to buy them on Wednesday along with the chocolate for the photo competition. First accidental breeding: As soon as the fish event is over, my Assassin snails are gone! (Unless they're fun)
  17. Either way nice mystery snail photobomb.🙃
  18. The first snow has arrived! (at 1500 meters above sea level) Can't wait for the ski season! Here's Gretel the Ukrainian rescue
  19. If they're relatively close to the substrate I tend to poke them in, if not wait until they reach a decent size and cut them off and plant.
  20. I think what you really need to take into count is the weight, but besides that (if you plan to drill holes) I would take a relatively thin piece no more than .5 cm wide (a fifth of an inch)
  21. Maybe try attaching weights to it if you want the quick solution, but normally it sorts itself out within a week. I guess it could be oxygen formed by bacteria making it float?
