    I would just say be careful how much you dose or like my case I believe I caused a staghorn outbreak from overdosing.

    Are there any negatives to this I work alot so I don't get a ton of time with my tanks during the week so sometimes I dose right after I've fed the fish any downsides?

    Thanks again @laritheloud that platy seems to be doing much better I'm going to try cutting back on how much I feed and see if that solves the issue.

    I'm interested in how others plan their next tank. Do you draw it? Do you do a "dry run" in a spare tank? Are you like myself and do no planning and throw the tank together?

    I picked some spider wood up and put it in my empty tank to get it water logged and this slimey stuff is coming out now is this fish safe?

    @JoeQ Do you puncture the root tabs or put them straight in people have had issues with the air inside the pill capsules but I'm not sure if thats you're problem since you said alot of bubbles. Do you have any pictures so we could get a better idea of this issue?
