  1. Are you a University professor in biology 🙃? I do agree though that it would be genetically advantageous to mask one’s male sex for a while (especially as males tend to be more colorful and therefore are more likely to be eaten). That said there would be no need to do so in a controlled environment (aquarium).
  2. @PineSong I have also experienced this, and I expect that overbreeding has caused some genetic deficiencies (de-fish-encies😁) which mean that some guppies are just late bloomers.
  3. I have seen some people dig them into their lawn or cover the black with bamboo kept together with wire. Nice plants btw
  4. Seeing as it’s a planted tank, you could put a betta or some cherry shrimp in.
  5. I’m with @nabokovfan87, Amano shrimp or ghost shrimp would eat most of the mulm.
  6. Great work! I always get a buzz wether I've spotted some guppy fry or some neon tetra eggs, it never ceases to amaze me!
  7. You mean your angels bred on accident?? I've been trying to breed them for 3 months!🙃
  8. I just had a look on their website (I've been on holiday for a month) and when I scrolled down to read a couple of blog articles I noticed that the home page has changed as well as the fact that they are now shipping to Australia! I doubt any of the co-op team will read this but I hope that your global expansion is going well and I'm looking forward to seeing your products on the shelves at my LFS.
  9. you could stock all of the Pacific East Coast with that. Hope you have a good filter .
  10. Male , due to the nice colors and the iridescence on the gill flaps. If the males hiding he’s the dominant one, think about selling the other.
  11. Hill stream is better for the algae, spotted Borneo can look cool but tend to be a bit agressive in small tanks
  12. My tank boss is an albino rainbow shark who’s about an inch off full size. He shares a 75 gallon with a couple of tetras and a breeding colony of wild type guppies.
  13. Aren't clownfish symbiotic with an anemone ? Isn't it hard or impossible to keep clownfish without an anemone?
  14. Bamboo Shrimp are fun and too large to eat. Get some big Amanos if you're having trouble with algae. I attempted the same thing as @eatyourpeas and it looked like my snowball shrimp were attacked by a tank.🙃
  15. 150 bucks if you get cheap equipment and fish off eBay and AquaBid.
  16. Live black worms (if you can get them) and BBS work fine.
