    Hats off to you for doing an aquarium at your school! I managed to gift a 5 gal and some shrimp to my headmistress who then put it in her office window😉.

    Yes, as it’ll lose a large amount of energy which it put into all those that have been cut off, and will experience a short-term set back. It’s OK, when I first joined all I seemed to be doing was asking questions 🙃

    Maybe one day I’ll try doing a tank in every room and turn all the main lights off and see what happens🙃 I saw a fun concept of an aquarium coffee table the other day!

    I’ve seen it done with oak and beech, if that helps, so therefore I expect Maple should be fine .

    Clip them off at the base, so that the rest won’t rot; and never do too many.
