    That has been my dream for about a month and so far Diddly Squat has happened! @JoeQ, do you have any ideas for a fish that would churn up the substrate? I’ve heard that CAEs will pick on mystery snails.

    It is quite tempting, but would rainbow shiners be better. So far Plan A is a discus tank with a nice scape and a couple of rams. Any thoughts? Thanks for all your help btw!

    If it’s going to be a species only tank maybe add another 2-4, they’re supposed to start schooling from 8 upwards according to a friend.

    I’ve done a quick google search: Phoximus Phoximus for sale Switzerland (in French) and first thing I see is an ad for a trap for them!😢 Good thing is that I can supposedly go down to lake Geneva and catch some… yet to be proven!

    Any idea about the Latin name for that fish?? I’ve seen it before in my LFS! I’m in high school, so my pockets aren’t deep enough to fit a couple of gold bars in🙃

    Net breeder thingies tend to be quite useful , as you don’t need to worry about doing that extra water change. Congratulations on your hatch @meadeam!
