  1. I have giant danios so i put 2 cubes in there and within 2 minutes they are gone.😁
  2. Amazing, i hope to have a tank as good as that one day.😁
  3. My dad told about how he had a crayfish when he was in college and i wanted one so i got a 20 gallon tank with all of the crappiest things like marble substrate but then i set up a 55 gallon community tank for him and now he loves it. I then bought a 20 gallon high and put my pregnant dwarf crayfish in there and now i have over 10 babies in a planted tank. I just set up a 5 gallon tank which i plan on putting shrimp in!
  4. The bottom one has a more defined fin shape which could express dominance but as far as gender normally male fish are more colorful and females are duller. Good luck😁 Beautiful tank btw😄
  5. Looks like a female cherry barb😄
  6. I just set up a new 10 gallon guppie tank and 3 of the females look pregnant. I have bred guppies by accident before my 55 gallon community tank with a crayfish but only one survived. That guppy is in my guppy tank now and is the most beautiful one. I am excited to have baby guppies!
  7. That looks like bba (black beard algae) bit l love the look of your tank and your angel fish.
  8. A good light for your tank. A shelf to put all of your supplies and chemicals on.
  9. What is your stance on fluval stratum and why is it so expensive?
  10. If you are doing a planted tank i would go with fluval stratum or seachem flourite. If you might put a couple plants in and dont want to spend thousands on plants just go with some gravel or sand. 😁- good luck A good small plant for a betta tank would be anubias nana petite which @Cory sells on his store!
  11. Some of the first plants i kept were java fern and anubias which are so hardy and easy to care for. Something to note if you plan on keeping java fern is that it will grow new leaves on the older leaves and you can pluck them off and multiply your plants.
  12. I think it was just stress because it all went away. I guess I was just paranoid
  13. I just bought 6 new giant danios and I am wondering if this is normal because my other three did not look like this and still do not. I don't want to infect my fish with any disease but I don't have a quarantine tank just yet.
  14. I bred guppies in a community tank with a three spot gourami and a crayfish and only one survived but it is now thriving.
  15. I agree with Dave. I think you should get another kind of test done or see if you are testing correctly. Also chain pet stores and some local fish stores do free testing and that could give you more information. That is my 2 cents.
  16. Hi I have been in the hobby for about a year and my first fish was a electric blue crayfish and I love him. I really like how his spider like legs walk around. My first real fish was a giant danio and I have three right now and plan to buy more as they are social. I am a beginner breeder and have bred dwarf crayfish and guppies. I can't show pics right now but will do as soon as I get home, I am very excited to be here as aquarium Co op has been a huge inspiration to me and has helped me through many water changes.(joke)
